How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

The room was very nice and clean, with a truly enjoyable patio. The host was very kind and helpful. The Livanios have excellent partnerships with local car rental, with private parking very conveniently located just across the street.

The hospitality of Giannis and Maria was exceptional!! They were very friendly and went above and beyond to make our stay memorable! Giannis was very helpful and informative about things we should know and do on the island! We stayed in apt 7 which was a one bedroom with a sea view balcony.

Spacious and bright studio, super clean and central yet feels quiet and private. We loved the private terrace to enjoy breakfast and some chill time. John is the most friendly and welcoming host. He gave us tips for restaurants and bars and best beaches based on the wind. He was also very kind to arrange a taxi for us to get us to the airport. Thanks so much! We would definitely recommend and return

The room is very comfortable and clean, the location is perfect,just a short distance from the port (amazing if you're getting the ferry) and the best part is Livanio himself, the owner. He is very friendly, ready to help you with anything you might need and made us feel at home. Top hospitality, I wish I could give him more stars because 5 just isn't enough.

Great friendly welcoming from the owner John. Super spacious and one of the most well equipped apartments we have stayed in. Lovely shady terrace to enjoy the view. Minutes to port, bakery, supermarket etc. Couldn’t fault the place and looking around Adamas I would say it’s got to be one of the best places to stay. Highly recommended

Would have been nice to have the bathroom serviced daily instead of every two days. An iron would be a good addition.
Very good sized room and well presented apartments. Nice outside seating. Host was incredibly friendly and helpful. Quiet but still very close to restaurants and town centre. Parking was easy on the street.

Such a beautiful property- the photos don’t do it justice! The owners Maria and John are so kind and welcoming. They also kept us updated with the best beaches to visit or certain days and helped us organise anything we needed. The rooms were clean and spacious. Everything you need whilst in Milos. Would definitely stay here again! Thank you for having us :))

The hosts were great, super frienly and helpful during our entire stay! This is a super great location if you arrive at the Adamantas port, only about a 10-15 minute walk. It's also close by to lots of shops, restaurants, and grocery stores.

A microwave in the room would have been great and a few extra clothes pegs
Great location just past the shops. Room was spotless , & tidy. Good size unit. John was very friendly and made us very welcome. He asked what we wanted to see and then booked our boat trip out to Kleftliko-which was the highlight of our trip to Milos.

The hosts John and Maria were really welcoming and supportive. John gave us really good suggestions on places to visit and local restaurants with good food. Our room had all the basic facilities that would make a long stay pleasant and comfortable. The room’s exterior and interior are beautiful.
