Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The position above the town meant it was quiet and there was a cool breeze and great view from the terrace. The house was well laid out and well equipped so if you wanted to cook there was plenty of equipment, plus a washing machine and dryer in the basement. The property was light and airy and a pleasant place to relax after a busy day.

A beautiful, modern and comfortable home. Fantastic views. Everything has been thought of from the outdoor shower to the coffee and other household items. Our host was friendly, thoughtful and responsive. Highly recommend this place, one of the best I've stayed at on Booking.com.

Specification of the property was excellent with views from The balcony over the harbour superb. Amalia stayed in touch throughout and there was everything you need provided

Little Eddie with the downstairs shower which if it had been resolved would have made showering a lot easier

it requires effort to walk to the villa up on the hill, and also has 3 floors inside so 2 stairs to walk . After the first day I got used, but if someone has issue with that better to consider there are stairs all over.
Lovely host Amalia, helped with everything she could, including with the luggage transport. The villa is new modern , has everything one needs , lovely view from the terraces. The location is on the hill in the old town , great view and pleasant

We didnt mind it but you should be aware that it is quite up the hill and you may have to climb quite a lot if stairs. Totally worth it, and you get a nice view and a cool breeze as a reward

We loved the house! It was very clean, very cozy, in a very nice location with wonderful view towards the port from the veranda. Nicely decorated the house has everything one can need. Walking distance from all the nice places. Mrs Amalia, the hostess, was very friendly, very helpful and responded immediately when we needed her. A big thank you to Mrs Amalia and hopefully we will visit the place again soon.

Nothing to complain about!!! Perfect stay!
Amalia was amazing. She met us at the port and helped us with our luggage. The house was amazing everything you needed for your stay and very clean and well equipped.The view was amazing.

We arranged breakfast on our own we always got these great baked goods from the bakery and delicious tomatoes and cucumbers with hummus and feta from the supermarket near by and enjoyed them on the extraordinary terrace of the accommodation with view to Poros harbour

very comfortable. good size beds and fabulous terrace with views over the Port. friendly greeting on arrival by agent to help with baggage and again on departure. very clean and everything we needed. very prompt help when we had an issue with wifi.

The Lithos residence is one of the most charming, well designed and well equipped house I’ve ever stayed in. The quality of the renovation to the linens, kitchen equipment and furniture used were exceptional. The views from the terrace were stunning. The house is close to numerous restaurants, good quality bakeries and supermarkets.

I do think that the location of Lithos Residence should be explained in the advertising. It is practically at the top of the town up many steps mostly without hand rails, so not for the unfit/disabled. There is a taxi service to the church but still quite a few uneven steps to the house itself. This is not a complaint, just a suggestion.
Our host met us at the property and helped with suitcases. Very easy communication with her throughout our stay. Four cleaning and linen changes over 2 weeks, nothing too much trouble. Thank you Amalia.
