Ideal location to explore the island, walking distance to beautiful beaches and lindos town. Really lovely hosts, Alekos and Cynthia were very welcoming and friendly and always ready to help if needed. We would really recommend staying there when in Rhodes!

Lovely family. They met us and explained how everything works and had us a bottle of wine and snacks on arrival. Lovely people. The room was very clean and had what you’d expect. We needed an iron as we were off to a wedding. We told the owners there was one on the room waiting. Location is at the top of Lindos. So basically walking distance down to the beach and town. We got the shuttle back up for 50cents.

We really enjoyed everything

We stayed here for ten days and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The location is perfect – in just a 10-minute walk you can easily reach both the historic center of Lindos and Lindos Beach, and from here you can also explore all the main beaches of both southern-central and northern-central Rhodes. Also immediately close you can have 2 minimarkets. The owners are incredibly kind, friendly, and always willing to help. Whenever we needed anything, they were there for us, giving us tips on where to go and even lending us umbrellas and beach chairs for beaches. The house itself is beautiful and spotlessly clean. We were welcomed with a bottle of wine, fresh grapes, and other treats. It’s very spacious for a couple, and we especially enjoyed the small veranda where we could have dinner and relax in the evening. The kitchen is fully equipped and large – a real kitchen, not just a small induction hob – with everything you might need to cook comfortably. We truly had a wonderful time here and would highly recommend it.

The hosts were wonderful! Greeted me with big smiles and showed me the apartment and its features. The walk up from the gate is picturesque with lovely flowers and grapes and the studio itself was very cute! Good value for money, nice walk to town (10-15 mins) also a nice area to go for a little run too!

There was nothing that we disliked.

Everything. We were very late arriving at Venus Island due to a delay on our outward flight but Alekos and Chrysanthi were still waiting for us and showed us around our studio. We had everything we needed. Also a welcome pack on arrival and treats during our stay were much appreciated. The garden, which we were encouraged to make use of, is beautiful. The whole atmosphere is calm and restful, a sanctuary away from the beautiful but very busy, Lindos old town. Our outward flight was also delayed but we were able to extend our time in the studio at a minimal cost so that we could enjoy our last day in Lindos. Alekos and Chrysanthi are brilliant hosts and thankyou also to Anna who kept in touch during our ever changing arrival and departure times.

The only negative we found is poor internet speed on Wi-Fi, which is caused by the telecommunications provider in this area, not by the hosts. But, anyway, you should rather enjoy this beautiful part of Rhodes than check the internet connection speed 🙂

The property was immaculate with a very comfy bed and crisp cotton sheets. The kitchen had everything you need for a holiday stay. It was quiet and peaceful and the air conditioning was very welcome!

The air conditioning had an unpleasant smell and is in clear need of cleaning and maintenance. A specific odor lingered in the studio, and the lack of mosquito nets made it difficult to ventilate the space properly. Additionally, during our six-night stay, the bed linen and towels were not changed, and the studio was not cleaned. While taking out the garbage ourselves was manageable, it was not something we expected from a property in this price range—especially considering we stayed in the most expensive deluxe studio on the upper floor. We would strongly recommend that the hosts reconsider their policy on cleaning and linen changes for longer stays. Despite these issues, the overall experience was positive, largely thanks to the warm and generous hospitality. Thank you again, Chrisanthi and Alekos!

A fantastic 6 night stay in this wonderful accomodation just outside the stunning town of Lindos! The studio was very clean, very well equipped and comfortable with excellent air con, which was much needed! The owners and their daughter were so hospitable and fully available to us and helped us with some queries. They also facilitated an early check in and late check out.

Chrysanti and Alekos were exeptional hosts always accessible, ready to help and friendly. The day we arrived they both welcomed us as friends and left us a bottle of wine, two bottles of water in the fridge, a bowl of fruit and a lot of biscuits and pastries on the kitchen table for our first breakfast. Venus Island apartments are not far from Lyndos centre. They are in a very good position, surrounded by a beautiful garden and very near to a small Krana supermarket. The self-catering apartment was clean, quiet and well-equipped with a washing machine, a shower and air-conditioning. Our hosts changed our bedsheets and towels after the first week and cleaned the apartment too during our stay. I would definitely recommend Venus Islands Apartments for your holidays!

he best self catering apartment we have stayed at in Greece! Comfy bed, welcome pack on arrival, great location, peaceful yet easy walk into Lindos village. The owners are fantastic, so genuine and very helpful, nothing was too much trouble. All queries were responded to quickly. This will now be our preferred place to stay when we visit Lindos again.

Alekos and his wife were amazing hosts, both friendly and very accommodating. The studio had everything we needed, and we loved the balcony and the beautiful garden which surrounded the property. What’s more they went above and beyond to be helpful, allowing early check-in, collecting us from the bus station and even letting us store our luggage for a few hours after check-out. We can’t recommend saying here enough!

Good location in Krana outside of Lindos, there is about 10min walk from the Apartment to Lindos Main Parking and from there another 15-20mins walk to Lindos main beach or into the town. Very hospitable hosts, trully made us feel welcome, grateful to them for such hospitality. Hosts changed our bedsheets, towels and cleaned the apartment once during our one week stay, which was a nice touch. Well equiped kitchen though you would need to get your own seasoning e.g oil, salt etc. Trully enjoyed our stay, we would love to come back.

Location in Lindos perfect, plenty of parking, use of the gorgeous pool across the road was simply amazing when we didn’t go to the beach. Very secure, beautiful surroundings, quiet, spacious, clean, relaxed. Owners were simply two of the nicest people we’ve ever met. Washing machine invaluable, went home with a suitcase full of clean clothes!

The studio was very clean and had great facilities: a full kitchen, washing machine, good shower, good air con, and lots of storage space. The studio is only a 10-minute walk from the centre of Lindos and the beach, and has two supermarkets with pretty much everything you’d need within a 5-minute walk. Alekos and family were very attentive and did lots to make my stay very comfortable. Thank you!

There was not a single aspect of our stay that we didn't love . It was our first time in Rhodes ,we tend to travel independently around the Greek Islands and to be honest found Rhodes more commercialised than we are accustomed to but as we had hired a car we were able to find our vibe away from the masses and had a really lovely time . Staying with Alekos and Chrysthani felt heaven sent and was the making of a wonderful holiday .

Without doubt the nicest and best place we have ever stayed in in the Greek Islands. Alekos and Chrysthani are the kindest ,warmest and most welcoming of all hosts . They welcomed us personally and had left us lots of goodies in our studio to get us started including a bottle of wine ! Our studio was spotlessly clean and very well equipped for self catering ,we had a first floor studio with a beautiful view across the valley to the back of the studios and the beautiful olive tree gardens to the front ,it was so quiet and peaceful and within a 5 minute walk to the top of Lindos village . On more than one occasion we returned back to the studios to the gift of Chrysthani 's most delicious home made baked cakes and pies ! We were delighted too when we were invited to join Alekos and Chrysthani on a bouzouki night at a local taverna ,it was an absolute pleasure to listen to Alekos band playing traditional Greek music and be part of a truly authentic Greek night out ! I can only describe our experience at Venus Island studios as like being wrapped in a warm hug from beginning to end . The kindness shown to us by two incredible hosts was humbling and will never be forgotten . If only we could replicate all the magic of Venus Island studios across every one of the Greek Islands!
