We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. United KingdomLocation. No where to really have a nice walk outside of the property & too far from lindos village if you want to experience that. Couldn’t get bookings in the a la carte themed restaurants during our stay however we did turn up one night and ask if they had availability and they accommodated us in the Asian restaurant. Limited choice of food though and we didn’t enjoy it. Pool food is basic and average. The play area for children also needs an uplift. There was an area towards the sea past the themed restaurants that was super run down with bottles and cigarette buts lying around. Not a 5 star hotel. Hotel reception is nice but rest of it I would say 4 stars at a push.
Lots of different pool areas which is great. We went end of August and no trouble getting sun lounges around pool. Buffet was fine - pizzas and pastas were nice!

United KingdomEntertainment for kids could have been more. Some quick wins would help make it feel more luxury, such as more than 1 pillow and ice creams for the kids available all day at pool bar
Beautiful location. Lovely way to wake up with the sea outside We had a sea view family room and on the whole it was good.

United KingdomThe cleaning staff were not so good very quick and had a lack of customer service, especially on the last day the lady knocked our door to tell us to get out , I explained we had a late checkout given to us by the hotel manager due to a room mixup on our arrival . She proceeds to text me on her phone to show me complete with a verbal translation incase I didn’t understand : it’s checkout time , get out !! It’s a scam ….
Good size resort , great dining and fantastic hotel staff

IsraelThere is an overall issue with the A/C, and you have to pay 25eur for the safe in the room, which is greedy.
We had a sea view room on the 6000 part. The view was absolutely amazing. The staff was very friendly. Tommy rhe public relations manager was also very helpful and professional. The food was delicious and fresh.

United Kingdom1 of our rooms was very dark and dingy. We booked as a family of 6 so needed 2 rooms however we were put really far away from each-other. 1 in the main hotel and 1 in the new block. The food was pretty much the same every day and it was very mediocre. The beer was warm and no selection. Food for kids was not very kid friendly other than chips and pizza. The pools are a lot smaller than the pictures suggest. The price compared to the value doesn’t match up
The view from 1 of our rooms was lovely, we had a sea view room. The staff were amazing and friendly. Had a supermarket and shop within its grounds.

United KingdomBut! This is my no means a 5* hotel. If you are looking for luxury this is not the hotel. The reception area was grand, but our room was shabby, bits of paint chipping off, cracked tiles around, shower was ok at best. We paid a lot for a family room but no access to balcony without going through the children’s room so that didn’t work of an evening. The slides were fun for our kids but older kids might be disappointed at 3 were closed. The restaurant situation was also very poor. It advertises 3x themed restaurants but that’s not the case, it’s all in one area overlooking the sea (beautiful) but in a week stay they said there was no availability at all! The kids club area is the most tired of it all. The girls who ran it were amazing! Literally the kindness and sweetest girls who even came and played cards with us - but the facilities did not live up to the glossy website.
We have just returned from a family holiday - 6 adults and 3 children. It was a beautiful location with stunning views. The resort wasn’t too crowded, easy to get sun loungers for us all. Food was good, drinks were good. The hotel staff were lovely and adored our children (my two daughters and my nephew, ages 3,5 and 6). It was fun and safe and we all had a great time! Entertainment in the evening was really fun - it’s a small location, there is amphitheater but nothing seems to go on there. We really did have such a fun filled week but the hotel needs work.

AlbaniaToo many to list. 1. Property and amenities very tired 2. Three star at best not 5 star by any means 3. There were renovations in the rooms below us starting work as early as 08:45 cutting and grinding. Incredible for a beach holiday hotel that is supposed to be 5 star. 4. It seems nobody want to say it but around the hotel in sevral places it reeked of sewage. I believe there was also discharge into the sea just below the a-la-carte restaurants. There were several of us who walked up to the small bay but could not stand the stench and there was a black stream on top of concrete leaking into the sea. We never saw anyone ever sit on the beach chairs put out there. 5.Cleaning staff had no experience whatsoever cleaning rooms of a hotel 6. Shower head as well as toilet flush discharge broke during the stay 7. Food repetitive and just OK quality. 8. Beach towels so old had become almost rizzla thin. 9. Timings for food were so short breakfast finishing at 10:00 am. On holiday people wake up at around that time. While lunch finishing 2:30pm meant you could not stay longer at the beach or you would miss lunch.
Clear water of the beach and the staff.

Saudi ArabiaThe resort is advertised as a 5* resort - it is not a 5* resort. 5* resorts should offer table service for drinks at the very least - only the odd bottle of water was delivered to the table and (from personal experience) this was only to ensure guests never had too many bottles at their table!! We booked a deluxe double room with beach view. Whilst the view from the large balcony was amazing, we were somewhat surprised at the small internal size of the room. Furthermore, basic tea/coffee making facilities are not provided (can be offered at extra cost) and daily bottled water is not provided, which is further confirmation that it is not a 5* resort. The room was dated with leaking shower drain and furniture with peeling facia. Now for the main negative issue. We were located in the 5000 block - every morning between 7-7:30am, we were awakened by drilling into concrete directly below our room. The 5000/6000 blocks are undergoing much needed room upgrades, however, this should not be carried out during peak season or any season if paying guests have been sold these rooms. There were bags of cement, paint containers, builders wandering around shouting to one another, shouting on phones and to my surprise, leaving dangerous power tools lying discarded and unattended in positions where young children could easily have access with disastrous consequences. I did speak to one of the managers who offered a room swap, but we managed to come to an agreement that the builders would start work a bit later. However, it is unacceptable for a 5* resort to have this magnitude of work going on at high season, in a block with paying guests. The entertainment area is too small. There is only seating for maybe 60 guests for the main evening show. So much more could be done, such as removing the sunbeds and adding more tables and chairs.
Firstly and mainly, the staff were exceptional. George, Max and Mia kept us engaged and entertained every day and even made a point of coming to speak to us every day. They gave their best efforts at all times to mix with all guests and are a true credit to the resort. Tommy was also a truly enthusiastic public relations officer and understood any issues we had. He too always made himself available and would chat at any given opportunity. The location was idyllic, set above the bay. Very good location and very photogenic. The variety of pools was also good, just what is needed for the amount of guests in the resort. The reception staff always acted with great professionalism, no matter what situation was presented to them.

HungaryThe location is remote, you cannot really go out at the evenings / without car or taxi. The gym is small and 2 out of the 6 machines were out of order during our stay. The food and drinks are average/below average, the breakfast is clearly repetitive and boring.
The staff is very helpful and kind, no doubt on that. The thematical restaurants are nice and serves decent food, but almost impossible to reserve for group above 6 - do it as soon as you arrive, on the spot at the check-in otherwise will not get in unless you are a couple. The pools are nice, but quite small, and it's good to have dedicated pool for adults only. The furnishment of the room is old fashion and lacks some basic stuff, like drying rack. They can come and clean on demand which is also convenient.

United KingdomThe rooms weren’t really 5 star but still big and ok. You had to get taxis to Lindos etc (despite the hotel name which indicated it would be closer) and the hotel added 4 euros to every booking.
Lovely hotel, great pools and views from the hotel. Very well run and efficient, helpful staff especially Valeria on Reception who was amazing and always pleasant and patient. Other exceptional staff were the cleaners and the bar staff particularly in the dining room who were really friendly.

RussiaIt's not 5* hotel. The furniture is very old. Construction works - is everywhere. Bad smell in the main bar. Cocktails - It's like soft drinks. Lobby bar - everything is only for money all the time (always empty). No silence isolation. Doors are broken. Mattresses are not comfortable and dirty (it's awful). The main restaurant looks like a factory canteen. We saw a huge cockroach there.
The sea is beautiful, Greek!!! and Italian!!! cuisine were excellent, local wine and beer not bad, music by the pool, evening entertainments, 90% people- Italian. The hotel = only 4****.

United KingdomThe twin beds were comfortable but kept moving apart, and it would have been good to have separate blankets for each bed. The wine available on the all-inclusive basis was generally poor, which was a shame as the food quality was good, both in the buffet and in the themed restaurants.
Good facilities, friendly helpful staff, good food and close to beach. The air conditioning worked well and was quiet. The room was generally good and clean. The shower was really great. Powerful and spacious, and most of the time, the water was hot. The pillow choice was much appreciated. It was better than most hotels we have stayed in. The entertainment was first class and great fun, especially the South African bands. Of all the hotel staff we have ever met, no one has been as helpful, happy, and smiling all the time as George in the bar in the buffet. It was a pleasure to meet him!

United KingdomThe family room sofa bed wasn’t the most comfortable of beds, and four beds would have been better. Given the size of the resort and proximity to Lindos, a complimentary shuttle to Lindos would have been good rather than spending money on taxis each time.
The location to the beach and short taxi ride to Lindos was particularly useful. The various pools offered good alternatives and the location of the hotel generally offered great views. I would recommend eating in the additional restaurants at the hotel because the food and service were very good.

New ZealandThe place is well used and shows it. It needs a major face lift. In our room the door handle to the door of the balcony was about to fall off, the door to the bathroom didn't close properly and the toilet lid fell off are some examples. Outside the building is showing cracks and in obvious disrepair. Whilst we enjoyed our stay we wouldn't recommend this place and would probably go somewhere a little more upmarket

LithuaniaWell... something wrong with a rating. Definitely not a 5 star hotel. It brings some shame on Greece tourism sector. Before staying, it took me to ask the same question 8 times and two weeks to get simple answer. Two weeks I have waited for simple respond, within these two weeks attacking by the same simple question. We were lucky to get room clean in late evening (11:30pm) but we saw other customers who have got keys and returned back saying room is not prepared. How long they have to wait hard to say. Not so easy to wait during midnight your room to be prepared. The rest is the same as other reviews: air conditioning is not working and smells mold, beach towels are old and damaged, rooms are old and need to be renovated, etc... Something wrong with people & culture there...

BelgiumThe a la carte restaurants were mostly booked before we got there. The food in the main dinning room was good, but it was very repetitious every day. Breakfast and lunch were the same each day. The dinners did have some specials each night.
The pools and beach were great at super easy to get to. Everything was very convenient and the staff was great. The rooms were large and clean. AC worked well. And the taxi ride to Lindos was just a couple of minutes.
