Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Reasonably priced family run hotel simple style but offering everything needed for a good stay. Basic but fully equipped rooms, great pool with ample sunbeds, very friendly staff, continental breakfast was very good. 7/8minutes walk to the main road where there were resteraunts, shops and bars 4/5; minutes further to the main beach with more bars and resteraunts than you would ever need, 20/25 mins to the town center and harbour. Very enjoyable stay would recomend

AustraliaStepping out of the shower extremely slippery. Solved this by draping bath mat over the lip.
We loved it that it was away from the noisy beach bars. The manager was excellent and helped us book transport to the Airport for our early morning flight. The cleaner was friendly and efficient. Fairly new build. Beautiful pool and surroundings.

United KingdomThe breakfast was very basic some bread, meats cheese and salad. It was okay but personally I would not recommend they are plenty shops for pastries and cafe that do a good breakfast at a decent price. The shower was okay the area for the shower could have been a little better. The hotel had nothing around you had to walk 5-10 minutes till you got to a shop, cafe or anything. To get back to the hotel from the main area you would have to walk along a dirt track. This was fine during the day but as a solo traveler on an evening I didn’t feel safe this meant that I could not stay out after the sunset and would have to go out for food or anything quite early. If you are travelling alone and you enjoy going out on an evening I would not recommend this hotel. It is a huge shame as this hotel minus the dirt track was fab for solo travels in my opinion very quite and perfect place for some R and R. There were safe boxes at the front of the desk not ideal. Safes in the room should definitely be a next step and a great idea.
I loved the pool area and how there was lots of sunbeds. A huge pool with a deep end, shallow end and small area for non swimmers. The bar was a decent price. The rooms were very spacious the balcony too. The fridge was a really good size. There was plenty wardrobe space and the beds were comfortable. It was quiet and had no noise on an evening so you could get a good night sleep. You could book your day trips with the front desk and they were a good price. I booked mine the day before.

United KingdomRead the positives first.. The air conditioning in the rooms needs updating. Takes a while for the room to cool down when you arrive back .Some of the mattresses need replacing .The sun loungers need upgrading. They are OK though..Still usable. It is a 15 min walk into Kos town, but it is an interesting walk with lots of bars, restaurants, and shops lining the streets. A long way from the centre if you have any mobility issues. This place is fantastic. The owner just needs to upgrade some equipment.
The swimming pool is fantastic..like an oasis.. Beautiful palm trees and garden is very well looked after. Rooms are cleaned every day. Very fresh and clean..you can keep towels if you like. Beds are comfortable, mattresses are better quality than you find in a lot of accommodation in Kos. Always a warm welcome when you arrive back. I loved this place and would definitely recommend it. It is very quiet at night, perfect for a good rest and sleep.

IrelandThe aircon was ... 'ancient', at first it wouldn't work and took a few times turning it on and off. There was a powercut on the first night causing all aircon and lights to turn off, with no backup generator from what we could tell. Overall the hotel is great for a 2 star hotel and gets the job done, if a little on the expensive side...
The pool area was nice and big with lots of sunbeds and umbrellas which was good. Overall the hotel was nice and quiet and perfect for couples and families. We rented biked from down the road but you can rent them from reception for €5 a day, good cycle paths but not for the faint hearted with lots of people around. There was a lovely taverna down the road called Sunset Taverna if you want to go local and not cycle into town.

IrelandDidn’t like the housekeeping policy at the hotel, bed sheets were not changed, they were simply straightened out and made to look neat every day. Was told by housekeeping that towels were changed every 3 days which I didn’t feel was particularly hygienic. I don’t know if this is down to cultural differences or just the policy of the hotel.
The pool facilities, sunbeds and tables at the front of the hotel was very nice and it gave off a very nice vibe and ambience. The receptionists were all very nice and helpful, they did their very best to accommodate us.

United KingdomOnly negative being the location of the hotel although it was a 10 - 15 min walk into Kos town we knew it was a bit out the way when booking. There is a derelict hotel next door and lots of waste land on the actual street where the hotel is but this is no fault of the hotel don't let it put you off, we would stay there again..
Friendly staff, very clean throughout the whole place. Comfy beds, nice pool, breakfast was well presented.

IrelandAround the pool, groups were using speakers to stream music - no problem there but when there is more than one group with speakers and different music, can be a bit annoying. Might be useful if management provided the music and then this problem would be removed.
The pool was clean with sunbeds always available. The accommodation is basic but spotless. We stayed four nights and had sheet and towel changes. It wouldn't be suitable really for self catering but there is a kettle, two ring hob and sink in the room with some basic pots, knives, glasses etc. Bathroom was fine but you had to climb into the bath for a shower so wouldn't be good for anyone with mobility issues. Quiet location with walk of about 20 minutes to Kos Marina.

United KingdomI was disappointed that the snack area wasn’t open during the day . The hotel , although quiet , was set in a remote area not well lit at night.
We booked a semi basement studio and I was a little concerned but needn’t have been . Our room was very spacious and had very comfy beds with plump pillows .It contained a small kitchen area with sink kettle and fridge , a good shower with a proper door , not curtains . A patio door led to a nice seating area surrounded By flowers . The grounds were well kept and swimming pool was good . For a small charge we were allowed to keep our room until six o’clock . I didn’t book a return taxi until three quarters of an hour before the flight as didn’t realise I needed to , my fault completely . When the taxi didn’t arrive the manager phoned the taxi company several times on our behalf . If he hadn’t have done so we would have missed our flight as the taxi didn’t arrive until two hours after booking it . Thank you so much ! ( whoever is reading this take note and reserve the day before )

IcelandThe only things that was missing was some cutlery and maybe a kettle in the room. Also no shampoo but in case you don't have your own there were plenty of them in the shower area by the reception so you can probably borrow one :)
It is a great budget hotel. First of all, really good location, about 20-25 minutes of slow walk to the town, places to eat and supermarket about 5 minutes of walk. Beach about 15 minutes from the hotel, depends on the pace. Pool was great, in a full sun, almost empty most of the times as people come here for the beach. Cats everywhere and we loved it, they will meow at you to get some food and attention :) Breakfast was limited but good, some fresh vegetables, toast, jams, honey, yoghurt, really good coffee. The staff is amazing, always helpful, always smiling, welcoming and willing to answer all of my annoying questions so thank you guys for that, all of you there are great :) room was clean, toilet as well, never experienced any troubles with water etc. little patio/balcony available with the room. In general it was quiet, it is not by the main road and also a has a little fountain by the patio so it provides a nice background noise and cancels the noise from the street. Lots of plants everywhere, we really enjoyed it. Plenty of room to sit in the shade on a patio or by the pool, you can get a cold drink from the bar as well. We liked it so much that we actually booked additional night there and I would definitely come back.

GermanyThe hotel itself is not the most clean you have visited (pool, rooms, public space). It is alright, but I hoped for better. Also the straff could be friendlier, you didn't get they feeling that they were trying to please you in any way.
The location is great and a full day bike rental is 5€. You can easily explore Kos Town and everything around it without having to use taxi and/or public transport. There are also stray cats living on the ground and the personal takes good care of them!
