I liked that the villa was close to the beautiful beaches, a lot of shops both for food and souvenirs, it is close to the bus station to go to Heraclion. Also, the hosts were very kind and gave me many useful tips for navigating around. I didn't use it much, but I loved shared rooftop area where you have tables, chairs and sunbeds. It has a nice view on the sea

Giannis is been incredibly welcoming, the location is perfect, they cleaned our room everyday and the place was very cozy. Our experience was incredible and I'm grateful to have met Giannis (the owner) a fantastic person that always helped us with everything we needed and he recommended us some great place to eat and to visit. The hosts' reception was warm and they were kindly eager to provide for every demand, the hotel was small, clean, comfortable and nicely decorated, creating a homely atmosphere. The beach is very close, the necessary supplementary equipment offered by the establishment, there are shops, restaurants and bars around and there is a regular bus correspondance for the city center, as well as taxis. The supplementary surprise was the roof arranged as cozy living-room, from where one could enjoy the quiet summer night under the starry sky and with a beautiful view.

We stayed at this villa and everything was simply wonderful. First of all, the location is very close to the sea, with a bus stop nearby, as well as plenty of small supermarkets, shops, and souvenir stores. Just 15 minutes away, there is a large supermarket where you can buy everything you need, from groceries to essentials. The administration was very friendly and helped us with absolutely all questions. The rooms were cleaned every day. They are very clean, comfortable, and compact, with everything you might need. The staff is extremely kind and welcoming. A huge thank you to the owner — he helped us a lot in understanding where everything is, where it’s best to shop, and how to get around. Only positive emotions, feedback, and immense gratitude. I highly recommend this villa to everyone. We will definitely come back here again.

A little suggestion, to provide a "Do not disturb" poster for the door, in order that the cleaning lady knows and not enter when you are in the room and you want to have some privacy.

I absolutely loved my stay at La Santre Villa! The owner is extremely kind and friendly, and will give you tips on where to get the best souvlaki in the area. You will feel right at home :) The rooms are clean and well equipped, the AC works perfectly, and the rooftop is nice to chill with card games or have a look over the sea. The villa is close to restaurants, the beach, and shops in the area and is easily accessible from the airport. I fully recommend and would definitely come back!

I had a great experience at La Santre Villa. The room was spotlessly clean and tastefully decorated. The host went out of his way to greet me and ensure I had a comfortable stay. The location is ideal, just around the corner from shops, restaurants, the beach, and even a public pool. I'd highly recommend this place for solo travelers or couples. I would definitely stay here again.

Excellent choice based on quality/price. City-style villa that gives you the opportunity to truly feel inside the Greek culture. Excellent location to reach any attraction, very close to the airport, the port, the city center and the aquarium. Quiet and very clean room. The owner is very hospitable and willing to help and give advice. Very very nice. The villa also has a terrace which all guests can access, it is very comfortable in the evening, very relaxing. We had a great time and it was a truly relaxing stay.

Everything was perfect!

It felt like home! We stayed at the hotel for two weeks. Everything was PERFECT! The owner is very nice and polite, with a smile on his face. He helped with everything that we asked and more! He welcomed us with a bottle of wine cause it was our honeymoon. The room and the hotel area are super clean! The room was cleaned every day by wonderful lady Nadia. The location is perfect, and the wonderful beach is 5 minutes away. All the shops and restaurants are a few minutes away from the hotel, also taxi and bus station. You can easily go on a daily trip to explore this beautiful island, everything is very well organized. Thank you for being the best host ever! Can't wait to visit you again!

We enjoyed La Santre :D The place is very clean, the host was super pleasant and helpful, and we loved having access to the balcony. The rooms have all necessary amenities. Additional pluses include the proximity of Ammoudara Beach and good connection to the airport and the city center via bus no. 1/6.

The host was very kind and helpful, provided many useful information about the town, local activities, some tips and tricks and made the stay very comfortable. Always with a warm smile and something nice to say. Room was nice, clean, cleaned every day, and very close to the stores and the beach. Liked the balcony and the roof where one can comfortably dry the laundry and also has a nice sitting area. Loved the fact that host was willing to prolong our stay after our flight was delayed and didn't make a problem out of it. It was so easy to reach an agreement. We even received a nice parting gift, which was not expected but really made us feel nice and welcome. We will definitely try to visit again!

I didn't like the fact that towels are changed every 3 days or so. I had a constant feeling they were never changed. :D And also, when by the sea, towels get very dirty very soon. They told me they could change it every day if I pay the fee which I didn't want to do.

Host was amazing! Really nice guy, helped us a lot with everything, planned our trips etc. Very, very helpful host. The villa is very close to the beach, it has nice balcony and also a rooftop on which you can come out to chill which I also loooooved! It's quiet, you don't hear or see other people and it's clean.

Very clean, cosy and you’ll have everything you need. The owner will always greet you with a smile. The property is equipped with toiletries, kitchen cutlery, A/C, small balcony (and a big one on the rooftop). It’s perfect for summer holidays. The buses (for the city centre and the airport) is very close and easy to use.

Local authorities should perform better as regards pedestrians facilities.

Being in a real greek house with gentle hosts! Great location near a long sundy beach with restaurants and shops and with easy access to Heraklion city. On site parking is a plus.
