Lovely host, beautiful surrounding gardens and outdoor sitting areas, quaint room with stylish decor in a great location. Very clean, fresh and well presented hotel, you can see the host takes pride in her work. Quiet area at nights with perfect swimming beaches nearby. Thank you to our kind, friendly host who made our stay comfortable and enjoyable. Would definitely recommend Kristal Hotel for a holiday stay.

Maybe the mattresses should be upgraded. They were a bit hard. It wasn't a major issue, but it can get uncomfortable after a few days.

Charming little hotel in Prinos. Placed in a quiet area, only about 500m away from the beach, very close to good taverns and shops. We had a triple room which was very spacious and clean. Overall good and would recommend.

The rooms facing the street could get a bit noisier in the morning (when doors are open).

Wonderful place and a very reasonable price. Location was awesome - just few min drive or walk from the small port to Kavala. Supermarket is next door and they have a great restaurant, beach just 2-3 min walk. Rooms were big enough for a hotel and loved the terrace. Consider not taking east facing room if you want to have a slow breakfast at the balcony. Otherwise the common area in the garden was amazing

The location of the hotel is great. There are a few beaches which are really close to the hotel. It's great if you are taking a ferry from Kavala to Prinos.

The bathroom was too small, there was no room for 2 people there. The wardrobe small as well. Wifi very poor and I don't know why the signal on our phones didn't work in hotel area. Timer for air conditioner didn't work. Sheets weren't changed in 5 days, only towels.

Located in a quiet place, the staff was very nice, they changed the towels every day, it was clean overall. The bed was comfy. Good value for money. The beach, restaurants, shops are very close.

Everything was amazing, especially breakfast :) Room was exceptionally clean, it was cleaned daily. Also new towels every day, and the bad sheets was changed in every 2-3 days. The location is also pretty good, for us it was exactly what we wanted. It is a bit isolated from the noise and a lot of crowd, but it is as well pretty close to everything that you need during your stay. We would choose this hotel for the next visit for sure. We felt like we are not there for the first time, like we were a regular guests for last couple of years.

Only bad thing is that beds (mattress) was horrible. Also beds were somehow short. My height is 180cm and I barely managed to lie down without problems. My feet touch the end of the bed all the time. If you are 180+cm you won't fit the bed.. I had sore back few days from it..

Everything is OK. Breakfast is good and is diferent every day. We weren't hungry until midday. Rooms were cleaned every day and towels were changed every day.

This is purely my experience as a solo traveler. In general, solo travelers are perceived as a nuisance by many accommodation places. We do not book long stays (four nights in my case). There is only one of us as opposed to families or even couples. Therefore, we do not generate a lot of profit for the business/establishments’ owners. This is being reflected in the attitude how the management treats us. Unfortunately this is one of those places. Common courtesy such as hello, good morning are absent from the vocabulary. Instead, such phrases as: “WHAT DO YOU WANT?”, “WHAT IS THE PROBLEM?” dominate the interaction. Simply asking for a glass of orange juice or even water (I am not a coffee drinker) at a breakfast was met with an outburst of anger and yelling while everyone else (families, groups, couples) were being eagerly attended to. Just like many places there are the representative rooms (balconies/views), as well as, less exposed ones (see pics.) which I got. I was fine with it for two reasons. First, obviously the price. Secondly, many times the views are not necessarily on top of my list when it comes to booking. However if this is your priority make sure you look in to it when reserving your room. Also, my room had a minor inconvenience (see pics) a small leak from the shower cabin. I decided it was not worth it to engage with the management (I came there to relax - first time after twenty three years - not to be scolded and looked down upon). Especially, when it only happened while showering and on top of that there was a drain hole installed in the middle of the bathroom floor. The statements above are the reasons for my subjective rating.

As far as the accommodation is concerned the rooms are clean and most of all air conditioned, which is a big plus during hot and humid days in the middle of summer. The property is located close to the beach (beaches). It is also right next to a restaurant and a small convenience store both run by a very friendly multicultural family. Breakfast food was good.
