Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomThe two TVs have no channels whatsoever, not even the local channels. The only thing available was Youtube (logged in as a guest), or Netflix app but you will need to login with your own account. The pillows might need a change, and I would prefer thicker pillow cases.
Very spacious flat with two balconies. The balcony doors have mosquito nets installed, so you can enjoy the summer breeze without inviting mosquitos. The two air-conditioners are very strong. It has all the amenities for a long stay, especially the washing machine and the drying rack. The kitchen is fully equipped with toaster, coffee machine, microwave, everything. The building has the cutest cat as its "porter" (see photo). The location is excellent, within a few minutes you can be at the port or the old town in the other direction. At the same time, the specific street is very quiet. The area has lots of restaurants, including several greek street food restaurants (i.e. gyros/souvlaki) and a good bakery for breakfast pastries and ice cream in the evening. In September, there was lots of parking space available around the block, most of the time exactly in front of the building. Be warned: do not park on Megalou Alexandrou, there are places where it is not allowed to park and they are not clearly marked with yellow lines. The municipal police is selectively giving fines, and apparently there is a "Greek law" that the fine for rented cars is double compared to owned cars (which sounds like an ingenious way to discriminate against tourists). To be safe, always park on smaller quiet streets.

CanadaCats on and near property. There's a sign on the front of building that says do not feed them and that they are taken care of. They would come to the balcony or near front door. The smell of cat food outside apt was overwhelming sometimes. <- some people might love them but I'm severely allergic to them. Not the Host or owners fault. Like previous comments, there was a smell of sewage in the kitchen (near the fridge) at times. TIP: TURN ON the AC in the Kitchen to help dissipate the smell. I'd also recommend shorter bar stools to allow all guests to comfortably sit at the island. Bed- definitely for those who prefer FIRM beds. A mattress topper would make the bed generally more comfortable.
Spacious apartment! SPOTLESS! Location- 5mins to port/touristy restaurants. Tips: Go to "Special" bakery for coffee and gelato. Best prices! 2 mins walk around corner from the apt). Go to "Taverna Christiana" restaurant for better quality non touristy prices! You need a car to get here from the Airport. (option to rent a car from airport and drop off at port is possible). Taxi is 50 EUR Wifi- Works very well in the kitchen and living area. Host sent a technician to assess the wifi, which helped to speed it up a bit and make more steady. HOST- friendly brothers. Responsive and helpful. If you're lucky, he will show up upon check-in, on his scooter with his dog Mavrouni! Bathroom - Loved that the shower doors fully enclosed. (common in Greece for half wall showers). Although, the shower head was in strange placement. You need to hold the shower head. LOVED THAT THERE WAS ALWAYS HOT WATER! Unlike other comments, the host did indeed provide toilet paper. Kitchen- good basic appliances. Helpful to have a coffee maker and Washing Machine! Drying racks provided on 1 of 2 balconies! Yes 2 balconies :) Parking- there was always FREE STREET parking in front of the apartment. TIP- if you need something that you don't see in the apartment, JUST ASK THE HOST! They are responsive and will bring you what you need.

SerbiaThe apartment is close to everything important (archeological sites, restaurants, taxi stations, city or KTEL bust stations) but it is very quiet. It is oriented to two sides for nice criss-ventilation. The kitchen has everything you need. The bathroom is very clean and the towels have a very nice smell. We used the washing machine several times, it was very convenient to wash beach towels and clothes. The building has a very cute cat that likes to be petted. We didn't rent a car but it seemed parking wouldn't be a big problem (second half of September).

TurkeyI was very disappointed with my stay at this property. Here are the issues I encountered: Cleanliness: The cleanliness was subpar. Safety Hazard: When I pulled the curtain, the curtain rod fell on my head. When I informed the host, instead of apologizing, he just said he knew about it and it wasn't a problem. Odor: There was a septic smell coming from the kitchen. Housekeeping: There was no daily cleaning service. Location Confusion: The property has no name, making it difficult to find on Google Maps. No Elevator: The lack of an elevator made it challenging to use the stairs. On the positive side, the property is centrally located, and the size of the house is good. However, these positive aspects do not outweigh the negative experiences I had. I hope this review helps others make an informed decision, the price is not value for stay.

TurkeyThe house was exactly as in the photos. The location was 7-8 minutes walking distance to the beach, 2-3 minutes by car. The owner Vassilis invited us to his restaurant and we had a wonderful evening in a place with the best view on the island, and very good food and drinks. Next time we come to Kos, we definitely know where we will stay. Thanks for everything.
