How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Great location great views friendly people
The manager was very friendly and very helpful couldn’t do enough for me. All the staff were very polite and I will definitely consider coming again

The hills but you can’t complain about the views
Lovely room with a lovely view. Cleaned everyday. Not just the staff but everyone in the whole area is just so nice and helpful. So many great food options and night life near the beach

THE BREAKFAST WAS SERVED IN THE ROOM AND NOT IN A BUFFET. IT WAS NOT BAD, IT COULD HAVE BEEN BETTER. THERE WAS A LUCK OF VARIETY.
THE ROOM IS ON A VERY NICE LOCATION, ABOUT 1 KILOMETER FROM THE CENTER OF CHERSONISOS. IS VERY CLEAN, HAS THE BASIC YOU NEED AND LOTS OF THE ROOMS HAVE A GREAT VIEW TO THE SEA. YOU CAN ALSO USE THE POOL ALL DAY. THERE IS ALSO LOTS OF STORES LIKE TAVERNS, SUPER MARKETS, BARS AND SHOPS TO BUY PRESENTS VERY CLOSE TO YOU. FINALLY THE BUDGET WAS GOOD.

As an ADULT only hotel we expected it to be quite. However there were groups of young men (late teen - early 20's) who dominated the pool area each afternoon, playing their music quite loud and shouting at each other These same groups returned most mornings at around 5am again extremely loud and shouting. I know this is not the fault of the management but it did spoil our overall time there.
The room was exactly as expected. A basic room with facilities in a small village. We had a large veranda with loungers, table and chairs which was very good for sitting out.

A little stepy but it worths because of the views !
The breakfast was coplimentary served in our room and it was exactly what we wanted . So we had plenty of time to enjoy the magnificrnt views and the calm of the place..

Rooms were not cleaned, no one emptied our bathroom bin in whole week we were there, no towel or sheets changed. Notice in room said cleaning on request but towels & sheets changed every 3-4 days. Bit confusing-guy on reception desk couldn’t do enough for you-he was even cleaning rooms which isn’t good. Nobody seemed to be looking after sunbed area, never seen outside bar open or any staff apart from guy on reception doing everything & night watchman who showed us to our room on first night.
Breakfast consisted of sliced bread & jams along with juice & Coffee every morning no change. You needed to go to reception every morning to pick tray up then climb steps back to room obviously spilling liquids on way. Was a quiet place up on hill which was not a problem, I paid for larger room on understanding I had views of mountains, pool & sea along with outside sunbeds but that was not the case, pictures are very misleading, not a lot of cutlery etc but just had to ask guy on reception & would supply this.

Not at all as expected or advertised. Moved after 5 days (and paid for another hotel) Loads of 18 year old lads making noise all day with pool parties. No internet in rooms. Poor air-con (which we paid extra for). No pool furniture to sit on, no pool bar or any lounge area to sit in (this is all implied in online descriptions). Room only cleaned once every 4 days.

Accommodation basic and the shower was a disaster. The pool was very small and the alleged pool bar was never staffed. Don’t stay here if you have a respiratory, cardiac or mobility issues. 82 steps to the room was a step too far.
The view was amazing and the accommodation was typically Cretan

the owner took £30 deposit for one nights stay. despite emails, they have not returned my deposit

The shower was sideways over a bath, resulting in a flooded floor every time we took a shower. Many steps up to apartment making it difficult with cases. Nowhere to sit by pool.
The views were amazing and lovely to sit out on the balcony. Staff friendly and helpful and bed comfortable.

The pool is practically unusable, always full of guys. At night, you can’t even whisper about the security guy yelling at you, when he can talk to his friends. The room was dirty and the cleaning lady came in without even knocking, with us she came in to do her stuff while we were sleeping.... The 100€ security deposit won’t pay you back and they’ll look the other way.
The only positive thing is the location, psikopiano is a super cozy village where you eat well and you can spend a pleasant evening, and is close to hersonissos.
