Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.

Solo
SpainEverything was super - the only thing I would note is it's not in a super accessible location without a car especially during the tourism off-season, when buses are very infrequent. Otherwise, absolutely zero complaints!
Much like the other reviews have said, Christine is an amazing host. Although she was not in Santorini in person, she helped arrange an airport transfer and went out of her way to accommodate early check in and late check out requests, as well as trying to help with car rental. The house is beautiful, it's tranquil and calm, and the perfect spot for us. There's also a handy booklet with suggested places to visit and things to do.

CanadaIt was a perfect place for us. We rented a car so we could easily park and get around to sites and landscape and beaches.
This is a lovely oasis perfect for our family of 4. The garden is a dream. The interiors are so beautiful and the neighbourhood is very quiet. No other tourists! The host is so kind and accommodating.

United KingdomKefia house is a charming cave home in Santorini and proved to be perfect for our family's stay. Well-equipped, comfortable, with a shaded courtyard for kids to play in. Superhost Christine was so flelxible, charming, prompt in replying to any query I had. The place is tastefully furnished and all little details have been looked into. She even provided extras like beach towels, sun hats and sunscreens. The nearby Lidl allowed for easy home-cooked meals. The kitchen was adequately equipped. It is not just an ordinary b&b. When Christine welcomes you with the greeting: Welcome to your home, she really means it. My daughter loved the place so much that she even made a thankyou card for our superhost.

South Africabecause of the structure of the house, there is a bit of humidity. but nothing to complain about, as the house is so nice
The house was exactly as expected, extremely nice and cozy, rich with details. Outstanding courtyard with beautiful bougainvillea. Christine is an exceptional host, always fast response, very much kind and caring (she had even organized some food for us -with a bottle of wine!- because we were landing late in the evening, that was absolutely a plus!)

BulgariaThe house is very pleasant and nicely decorated to fill the "kef". Cristine is such a supportive host and found us a hire car, booked a table in a restaurant and has a very good suggestion in the catalogue she has prepared for her guests. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend it.
