Coffee is awful, you need to pay separately for a good coffee cappuccino. Parking spots could sometimes be difficult to find.

Everything was wonderful.

This hotel is situated near the base of the monasteries in the lovely village of Kastraki. The room was a suitable size and the facilities were very good. The breakfast was outstanding. The close proximity to the monasteries was a bonus. There were good choices of restaurants for dinner.

Nothing not to like.

The location was fantastic for visiting Meteora Monestries. The public area by reception was very traditional for this area of Greece and very clean. Breakfast had an abundance of choice. We also had a kettle in our room and cups. So we could enjoy a coffee and a tea after daily trips out and about. Certainly adds to our stay.

The comforter on the bed was too heavy for this time of year. We had a little difficulty regulating temperature during sleep. Lighter comforter and sheets would be recommended.

The hotel is a bit dated. The WiFi was slow - good for email but not for streaming.

Maybe the hotel the closest to the monasteries and right on the main road to them; thus no need to drive through the town. Two tavernas across the street and a few more up and down the road. Also a souvenir shop across the street. Very friendly staff and very knowledgeable about all the monasteries (number of steps, history etc.! - fantastic). Had a room with a balcony to the back - great to sit and relax but little view.

The location of the hotel was amazing with quite a few eateries around it. The hotel was clean and well maintained. The breakfast was really good. The staff was very helpful. I left an item back they were kind enough to courier the same immediately to Athens.

Perfect location with view of monastery perched on Meteora. Prefer staying here to Kalambaka as the road up to the monasteries starts at Kastraki. Hotel was well located and only a few minutes away from local tavernas. Parking was available on site at no cost (convenient). Great information from reception on when to do what and generally very friendly and helpful staff. Room was very traditional but that's ok as it fits with the location, we liked it.

Shower was difficult, and breakfast was mediocre, at best, compared to other places we stayed in Greece. Place needed an update.

Great location. Fantastic view of Meteora rocks from our balcony. Staff was exceptional, especially Effi.
