The service at Kaliviani Traditional Hotel was exceptional. We greatly appreciated the attention to every detail that our Host did for us. The room that we took, with seaview was perfect in size and had many accommodations. Also, we enjoyed that the hotel had a private parking for the guests of the hotel since at night, it can get crowded in this area with a few restaurants near by. The breakfast was also very good, always prepared with care, attention and always fresh. Finally, our Host made sure that we experience our stay not necessarily as guests customers but more than this, as friends. It was a really warm welcoming and staying that we felt. The housekeeping was perfect as well. Highly recommend this Traditional Hotel to those going in this area.

We recently stayed at Kaliviani Traditional Hotel and were thoroughly impressed. The location is perfect, offering easy access to Balos beach while providing a peaceful atmosphere. The breakfast was a standout, with a diverse menu that catered to all tastes and exceptional service. Additionally, the cleanliness throughout the hotel was top-notch, making for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The view from our room was incredible offering sea views which was good as we found ourselves relaxing on the balcony every night admiring the view. The hotel is also very close to the beautiful beach Falassarna. Ioannis was an exceptional host and went above and beyond to make sure our stay at Kaliviani was exceptional and smooth. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a great experience and most importantly amazing views! We will definitely be staying there again whenever we’re back in Crete. Best hotel in Crete we stayed in by far and we stayed at 5 different hotels including Kaliviani.

Everything :) Ioannis is an excellent host, always available since the beginning with flexible check-in, good conversations regarding Crete and places to see or services available. The hotel and room has a beautiful view to the sea and mountains. The room was very comfortable and clean. The hotel neighbour is very calm with very lovely cats and also good restaurants to visit. It’s also near from all best beaches in Crete. In conclusion, if I come again to Crete I want to visit again Ioannis hotel and I will recommend to everyone.

nothing, even the thunder and heavy rain shower in the evening provided some natural drama.

We enjoyed every single moment of our stay. Ioannis - the host - took care of us and provided a lot of useful advice on places to see around. The breakfast he was serving in the morning was just amazing. Our room was spacious, we had a balcony with gorgeous view over the village and see. Several restaurants around.

The breakfast was great and Iaonis is a very attentive and helpful host. The location is good as the hotel is a few kilometers from Falassarna and Balos beaches. The view of the room is amazing!

We absolutely loved our stay at Kaliviani Traditional Hotel! The building is beautiful, with stunning views out to the sea, and the location is the perfect mix of the rural with amenities nearby. Ioannis is the perfect host and was so helpful for recommendations, late check outs or anything you needed at all. Maria was lovely too! The rooms are a great size, lovely balcony with views, included mini bar (amazing touch) and lovely tea and coffee station, with aircon and a ceiling fan which was the most perfect combination and the most black out shutters we’ve ever seen and the comfiest beds - a good nights sleep was had! Breakfast is amazing too and the perfect way to start the day. You simply must try the Gramvoussa Restaurant which is literally a 2 minute walk away too! Close enough to all the great places to visit if you have a car - Balos, Elafonnisi and Falasarna. We’ll be back! Our new favourite place to stay in Crete. Ευχάριστο πολύ!
