Unfortunately, one day there was no water due to a central system issue on the island; however, the staff was very kind in promptly providing information and finding temporary solutions.

Nothing I would only point out that this hotel is at the top of Akrotiri and would not be suitable for someone with mobility issues. We have visited this village before and are aware of this and able to make the journeys up and down the hill to the hotel. Most people seemed to hire a car to get about and there is plenty of parking at the hotel for this.

The views from this hotel are some of the best in Santorini, but you don’t have the crazy crowds and heat. It is spectacular! The room was a great size for our family of three, modern and comfortable, clean and well equipped. Breakfast is ordered on the first day for a specific time and you had to tick what you would like. As we were there for a week we did request a change of items which the staff were happy to oblige. Pool areas are great for relaxing and no need to get up super early for a bed and thankfully this isn’t what other guests do here. Bar is open and they serve a good selection of snacks and food throughout the day. Due to the location of the hotel at the top of the hill the reception staff were happy to book and organise pick up from Restaurants that offer this free service. There is a small supermarket about 5 mins away but a better equipped one is in the village. We used local buses again from the village centre to travel all over the island.

We had the most wonderful stay in Akrotiri! The room was amazing, with beautiful views over Caldera and the jacuzzi on the terrace was the cherry on top! The room beautifully decorated and clean! Our stay here was the best we could hope for! We stayed in a room with private jacuzi which we loved, especially our 2 year old son. The staff was always polite and helpfull Teo and Maria will have a special place in our hearts. We loved literally everything. We think this is the best accomodation in Santorini. Kalestesia Suite is amazing, and it looks brand new rooms! It is like villas, you can have privacy and relax in your private jacuzzi or in one of the two swimming pools. I got suite #1, which is very spacious, modern, with minimalist decorations. The suite was very comfortable and clean. The air conditioning is very silent and you can also get fresh air, as the suite has a lot of windows. Staff is very friendly and helpful. They organize transportation for you in advance of your arrival and during your stay. They have a restaurant, and the food was delicious. The breakfast is perfect! The Caldera view is even better than the pictures. I loved everything about my stay there.

The only thing I didn’t like about the suite was the trip to it. There is many turns and goes high up. There is this one turn that is very tight and I feel like anything bigger than a average car could not make it through unless you are a very good driver.

The breakfast was fresh and you had many options to pick from. The view was very nice since it was on top of the mountain you could see almost all of Santorini. The reception desk was very nice we got upgraded twice to the family suite. The main public pool is very nice and goes as deep as 1.8 meters and shallow enough for your young one to play in. The place has many opportunities to relax and hangout with some people. Then waiter at the breakfast bar was very nice and paid very good attention to you and would say hi to you throughout the day. They also have a dog there that is very nice and we loved how much she came over to or table. The location is very nice not even 5 kilometers out you have many restaurants to pick from and stores to go to.

Would be good if the road leading up to the suites, Could be improved, but the views from the suites are amazing best in Santorini of the Caldera so makes up for that.
