How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

The main minus is a hard bed and uncomfortable pillows
I want to say about the owner, he was very kind. always friendly and good communication. It was a 5-minute walk to the beach, even less. The rooms were cleaned once every two days, so they lived in cleanliness.

A couple towels were dirty and the material is very rough.
Good for the price and beautiful view. Also so close to the beach.

Nothing really. We needed a small room, where to spend the night and have a shower. we didn't have any special needs. This accommodation worked perfectly
The owners are super friendly and do everything to make you feel comfortable. They are very lovely. The location is very close to restaurants, beach, bus stops. It couldn't be better.

There is some street noise from nearby restaurants but, with the windows closed and the AC on, it didn’t bother us.
Our host, Aris came soon after we messaged him and organized getting the room prepared so we could get in a little before check in time.

We did not like its location because we needed almost 15 minutes to go to the bus station. It is not a problem when it is summer, but in February morning it was nightmare. :D
I liked almost everything, especially the owner of this hotel. He was extremely favorable with us. When we needed the iron for our clothes he sent it.

The water the tasted is bad and in the morning there’s no hot water 🙁 There no kettle in the room but he provided it.
The rooms is big enough, private balcony, good sea view and near the beach and mountain but it was quite as winter time . Aris he is nice and helpful. Thank you

Airconditioning didn't work and this accommodation has really thin walls. We've heard literally everything from our neighbors. It started with yelling mom and kid at 10 pm and ended with loud sex at 3 am 😅 Anyway, our bed was comfortable.
Our host was great and sympathetic guy. He was willing to change our room when we received one which stank like cigarettes.

The beds are hard :(
The owners are lovely, very accommodating outside of check-in/check-out times. Location is perfect and the room was very clean. I would stay again for the price and the location!

Great location on one of the main streets in Kamari. Close to the beach, restaurants under the hotel, bus stop nearby. The town has a good bus connection. Very clean room. Cosmetics set. Service every other day. Great contact before arrival and during the stay. Very helpful owner. Thank you for everything!

There was nothing to dislike. The room was perfect for our needs.
Only booked the room for one night to use as a place to check in after we had to check out of our previous accommodation. Our original hotel was too expensive to pay to keep the room for the day/evening. This was far cheaper to book for a night and just not stay the night. The host was on hand to let us leave our bags at the accommodation before check in and was happy to do this at a time to suit us. Rooms were lovely and clean with everything that was needed, including a fridge. The accommodation was just a minute walk from the beach. Lovely Greek restaurant below that we would recommend. Would definitely stay here if we visit again. The host was amazing and was so only a phone call away.

Amazing! We stayed for 2 nights only, but there was everything that we needed. Aris was also very kind and even offered us a drive from and to the airport. We found Kamari very beautiful, the beach was very nice and the mountain right beside it made it even prettier. Definitely recommend!

The COLDEST NIGHT IN MY LIFE AND THAT OF MY KIDS. MY KIDS SLEPT WITH JACKETS AND THE WALLS AND FLOOR WAS TOO COLD. BUT ABOVE ALL MENTIONED ABOVE THE HOTEL WAS MARVELLOUS.
The manager was super nice, he came and pick us from the airport for 20euros. He is a very good host and cares alot for the guests, he took us to super markets and restaurant. He showed us Where the bakery is incase we needed breakfast. He is a great Host I must confess.
