Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomVery noisy of an night due to being close to the nightlife (load music into the night), also noise of a morning as all the day trip boats leave. Take earplugs.
Very roomy well laid out apartment with a great view of the harbour. Great location, close to many bars and restaurants and only a few minutes walk to the town centre and bus station.

United KingdomCould have had a better selection of self catering equipment, eg more pans, dishes, cork screw, sharp knives (there was a bread knife), but this is being picky and with so many restaurants near by, not really necessary.
Very large and bright apartment with beautiful bay views, both from inside and from the good sized balcony. The apartment was quite basic but recently decorated and spotlessly clean. Good, quiet air conditioning, comfortable bed and plenty of storage. Apartment cleaned and towels and sheets changed every day. Photos don’t really do it justice. We didn’t have a car but there seemed to be plenty of parking outside. Kitchen cooking facilities were a bit limited but it was fine for the couple of meals we ate on the balcony. There was some noise in the evening from the harbour bars and restaurants but most nights we were there in late May it quietened down after about 10pm, and it was worth a bit of noise for the great location right in the thick of it.

NetherlandsNo fault of hotel, but noise from other businesses meant not being able to sleep until early hours.
Staff are warm and friendly, the apartment is spacious, spotlessly clean, and has kettle, toaster, fridge and 2 plate hob. Deco is well maintained but dated. It is good value for money. Location! Depends on what you require, it your out till the clubs and bars close its for you, if you want to go to sleep before 03.00 then maybe find something further out of town.

United KingdomSpacious apartments in a superb location on the harbour. Comfy beds and silent air con. There are reviews saying it’s noisy but once the doors are closed it isn’t too bad. After all if you book an apartment on the harbour in the middle of Kos Town you should expect some noise.

United KingdomNote that although the hotel has a lift, you have to climb 2 stairs to enter the hotel, and then go up about 10 stairs to get to the reception desk and the lift. This means it is really not accessible if you need to travel on wheels. The bathroom needs updating. There is a tiny shower cubicle that is too small for you to turn around in, and you can't bend over to wash your feet without pushing the doors open! The shower head would not attach to the bracket, so you have to hold the head to wash. This is a bit of a pain. Squashed next to the shower is the toilet. There isn't a lot of wriggle room there. At the other end of the bathroom is a big sink with space for all your toiletries. It would make a lot more sense to use that end for a spacious shower, and put a little sink next to the toilet. The tiles in the bathroom were old and the grout looked grim. I hope the bathrooms get a serious make over before we stay again! There are very limited cooking facilities in the kitchen. You can just about make an omelette or some toast, but there isn't the space or utensils to make a proper meal. The fridge is small and water leaked from the freezer compartment all the time. Being right in the middle of the harbour zone, noise is a problem at night. The bars and restaurants close down around midnight, but further up the road, some annoying bar pumps out incredibly loud pop music until 3am. Despite the good double glazed balcony doors, we could still hear the music at night, and eventually this became quite irritating.
Jasmine is located in the middle of the harbour zone, close to Dolphin roundabout, the Blues Brothers bar, and the City supermarket. The Jasmine restaurant is out front. The entrance to the hotel is up the side street. We had a spacious apartment with plenty of room in the bedroom and living room / kitchen area. The apartment's big selling point is the long balcony overlooking the harbour (see photos). The air con worked well, the furnishings were generally in good condition, and the apartment was well cleaned.
