The location is ideal, being only a few minutes to the beach and to the facilities provided by the hotel next door (included). The view is fantastic and the pool is lovely. We hired a car, which was prudent. (Check out Mochlos - a lovely little seaside village.) The owners and staff couldn't have been more friendly and welcoming. We thoroughly recommend Istron Luxury Villas.

Our experience at the villa was nothing short of exceptional. Tucked away at just the right distance from the main hotel, it offered the perfect balance of privacy and access. The panoramic views were breathtaking, and the atmosphere — serene and luxurious. Dimitris welcomed us with genuine warmth despite our late arrival, setting the tone for the entire stay. The breakfast at the hotel was rich and varied, and we had full access to all its amenities — from the private beach to the impeccable service throughout. Every member of the staff was professional, attentive, and sincerely kind, always ready to accommodate any need. Watching the sunset from our own pool felt like pure magic — a moment of stillness and beauty we’ll never forget. We live on crete and had our family from Australia over ,we wanted to show them the this end as we live in chania, the villa was perfect ,stunning setting, clean ,comfortable, all the facilities you could possibly need ,the beach 3 minutes away it was private and sunbeds and umbrellas were available, we had a amazing private pool so all in all I can recommend these villas great value for money and a beautiful setting 😀.

It's very hard to find anything not to like! The area around the pool is a little gritty and some of that ended up in the pool and the house but really nothing to complain about.

Dimitris was an amazing host. He helped us in every way he could from the moment we arrived. Nothing was too much trouble. His father, Adonis, made us the most glorious dinner when we arrived late into the evening and a delicious breakfast the following morning.

The views from the villa were amazing. The place was really well located and the villa was comfortable and clean. Dimitris and his sister were so welcoming. The breakfasts were fantastic.

If there is something negative, it’s only that the property is outside of a village, therefore you need a private car and the parking is a little bit tricky.

Just a perfect place with your own private pool, close to the beach and very nice people. They even bring you every morning a rich breakfast to your private terrace. It’s fantastic.

The villas are a little isolate, so without a car your options for dinner are a bit limited. You can walk to the Istron Hotel for dinner where the food was also very good, or ask the hosts to provide you with a meal in the evening.

The villa was very comfortable, with a lovely pool and spectatcular views. It was a short 5 minute walk down to the beach, which was very sheltered. The hosts could not have been any more friendly and helpful and provided us with an excellent brealfast every morning. We also had home cokked dinner on a couple of evening which were also very good.

It would be good if reception sold a few essentials like water, bread etc. if you couldn’t get into Istron Village easily like us as we didn’t have a car but that’s a personal wish.

The property was spacious, clean and had everything you needed for a comfortable, relaxing and enjoyable stay. The views of the hills and out towards the ocean were spectacular and it was very peaceful and relaxing. Dimitris and Marianna were so helpful and kind and went above and beyond to make sure we had a wonderful stay. A big thank you from us all.

Wonderful hosts, gorgeous villa, breathtaking view, great breakfast delivered to us. Two great beaches 3 and 15 mins away on foot. Agios Nikolaos was less than a 20 min drive away. Hosts went out of their way to help with any request we had. They cleaned the villa every day. Definitely recommend.

Apartment is well equipped, private swimming pool is amazing, breakfasts were huge and full of local products, staff very helpful and friendly, we received lots of recommendations from the owner for best restaurants and spots nearby, dishwasher and washing machine were very useful to have, small and quiet, partially sandy beach 200 meters from the apartments, sunbeds and umbrellas free of charge for the guests, nice beach bar

It was perfect for us!

This was a beautiful villa. Lovely location and great view. We stayed in the Artemis villa which has 3 bathrooms and 3 bedrooms. The kitchen is well equipped to cook the odd meal, great when you have a toddler! The beach is about 4 min walk away (with a toddler) and shared with the Hotel and other guest houses nearby. These villas are family owned and run. It is genuinely a lovely place to stay and Dimitris, Marianna and Andonis went out of their way to make our stay a memorable one. Thank you for the Lego, rocking horse and cheese pie!

There were a few small things that need to be repaired, but nothing major.

The hosts were so friendly, nothing was a problem. The privacy was fab, the pool was kept clean as was the apartment.

The location and Villa was very beautiful. The host are very kind and can accomodate you quickly with lots of requests (such as babysitting, meals, laundry). We trully loved the meals we ordered, it was delicious. The daily cleaning was greatly appreciated, we usually don't have this kind of service when we rent a villa.The beach is easily accessible by foot (even with a baby stroller) - and is a beautiful, natural beach with both stones and sand. The next beach (15 min walking - 3 min driving) is a really beautiful beach as well with only sand and turquoise water. We played tennis in the nearby tennis court of the Hotel - it was 8 euros / hour and they gave us balls and rackets. We also enjoyed the smile coffee - located 3 min away by car in the nearby village of Istron.
