How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

The breakfast could do with some improvement, using fresh and local ingredients. The check-in procedure and instructions felt unnecessarily complicated, though it all worked out at the end - primarily through the smartness and efficiency of the receptionist.
Clean, tastefully decorated rooms with a vaguely naval vibe in a hotel providing a very positive check-in experience – the receptionist was outstanding in her job, warm, friendly and efficient. The hotel itself is within a very short walking distance from the center of the city and its many shops and restaurants. A very decent choice for a short stay in the city.

We spent only one night in this hotel, but we really enjoyed our stay. The location is very good 10 minutes from the Airport and walking distance from the City centre. The hotel was very nice, clean and the breakfast was delicious. Staff was very helpful and friendly. We arrived late night after the check-in time, but the access to our room was well organised. Before our arrival the communication was excellent from the hotel, they let us know about everything. Highly recommend them. Thank you again. :)

The breakfast room is a bit small and very little variety with almost no Greek breakfast items, having said that the food is good quality and fresh.

The staff at Infinity City Boutique Hotel were really helpful and kind, always ready to assist with any question or request. The room was okay in size, simple but clean and comfortable, exactly what I needed for my short stay. The location is very convenient, close to the port and the city center, which made everything easy. A good choice if you’re stopping in Heraklion for a night or two.

The only thing missing is a swimming pool, but we understand that there is no space for it.
The location is perfect, walking distance from the port and the town centre. The staff is amazing, really helpfull and friendly,all three of them went above and beyond to make our stay exeptoional.A massive thank for the reception team.

It looks different than in the photos - the views from the balcony is to the street, there is no sea view.
The location is good enough, not far from the city centre. The room was clean and spacious. The breakfast is good.

Very friendly staff, it is a beautiful hotel located at the heart of the city , just 5 minute walk to the city Center . We love the delicious breakfast ! Can’t complaint of anything . We just highly recommended this hotel with their comfortable bed and a little balcony :-)

Our bathroom drain was clogged, we called the reception. They came immediately and were very helpful. Drain unclogged and no problems, they also cleaned the bathroom again, very good service. So not really a problem to be honest.
Nice spacious room on the top floor with a balcony, good breakfast and amazing people working there. Special shout-out to the reception and cleaning crew for sorting out a problem with the drain in the bathroom. Very nice people.
