How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Room looked better in the photos than in real life. Cleanliness could be improved.
Good location with parking (at extra fees) right next to the property. There is a small elevator which makes it easy to move luggages.

I liked the hotel,didnt dislike anything.
Nice staff, and really, really clean. Good location, and close to not expensive parking space. If i come back to Agios Nikolaos, I will stay at the same hotel. Good restaurants nearby the hotel.

They first did not want to give us a second room key. As lights and power outlets only work with that key, it becomes a problem ,if you do not come back to the hotel together. I am often tired before my husband and wish to go back to the room. I got a second one at the end but there should not be a discussion about it….
Very good location. Basic but clean room with a balcony. For a longer stay ,I would prefer something else though.

The only small defect is the breakfast that's not a buffet version and full.
The hotel is in a perfect position, it's extremely close to the lake (full of restaurants and shops), 2 minutes from the kolokitha beach and there is also a bus stop for the city bus. The room was very clean and comfortable, they changed our towels every day and the girl who is cleaning is extremely kind. The view from the 5th floor is on all agios nikolaos, it's amazing!

The only issue was that we were on the 5th floor just next to the refectory and we were hearing every noises in the morning

Small cups for a cup for a cup of tea
Lady on reception was very welcoming and friendly. The hotel is central. Room was cute although no milk for a cuppa however reception lady was kind enough to get a little milk jug for us. Enjoyed our stay

Lack of maintenance. Toilet seat loose. Cistern water continuously running. Sink plug broken. Flooring on terrace broken and a safety hazard

-Would have appreciated a warning that there was construction on the street in front of the hotel which made the directions to parking kinda useless (to be honest they seemed kind of useless anyway for this time of year) -Aforementioned construction made sleeping past 7:30 impossible though that's likely not a long term issue. Something was loose and banging on the building or a nearby building though which made it difficult to get comfy. -I constantly had to wrestle with the toilet to get it to stop running after a flush. -Hardest beds (and pillows) of my stay in Greece thus far. Not critically uncomfy just not the most pleasant. -Not a whole lot of choice for food nearby on a monday night in March. (not the hotel's fault obviously)
-Pretty good location in what is probably an interesting town in higher season -Nice and clean -Friendly staff member when I eventually met her but place seemed near empty.

The hotel had seen better days but it was a very nice sized room, and it was good value for money.

The room was not so comfort as it was expected to be.
The location of the hotel is very good,near to the sea and center of the town. Furthermore the receptionist Dorothea is awesome person to communicate and to provide a warm welcome
