I liked it all.

This family-run hotel is an absolute gem. We had economy rooms so no frills but they were big and had everything we needed. The shared hotel facilities were outstanding - beautiful grounds, views, pool, bar etc. The breakfast was fresh and delicious with loads of choice. The staff were so friendly and helpful. The attached restaurant/ trout farm served up great food at very reasonable prices.

The room has a kettle but no coffee. There is a dangerous step between the shower and toilet and the rest of the room. Wonderfully designed sofa but not comfortable. The pillows are hard and uncomfortable

The location is wonderful, the garden and public spaces are wonderful. The view is great. The restaurant is delicious. Everything is clean and aesthetically pleasing. Welcoming staff.

Had a great time here in the Cretan mountains. Idyllic location with views on the mountains and great sunset. Breakfast was also really nice, lots of choices. Lots of things to do on the property itself: swimming pool, hammocks, ping pong table, etc. There’s a restaurant very close by and a fish farm that you can visit. The town of Zaros is walking distance or a very short drive.

We very much enjoyed this paradise for the second time. The filoxenia of the family has no limits. Many thanks to Evi, Jorgos, Nikos and the staff at the taverna. The beautiful sound of the waterfalls of Zaros and the garden with roses and lovely trees make you feel relax and give you a good mood. They drove us to the lake, where you can admire nature and trouts. At the lake they also have a taverna. From the large swimming pool you can also enjoy the mountains. We certainly will come back this year.

Can't think anything could have been better!

We were made very welcome at this family run hotel. When we booked in our hostess picked fresh oranges from the tree and gave them to us. The facilities are excellent. The swimming pool is large enough for serious exercise, and is surrounded by lawns with shade trees, and there are hammocks between some trees. The location is beautiful, with mountains all around. There is a nearby lake with taverna, which is a good setting off place for a hike up an amazing ravine. The adjacent restaurant is also run but the family, and is next to their fish farm: if you order fish, you can be sure of its freshness! A wonderful place to stay. We liked it so much that we returned towards the end of our touring holiday.

Housekeeping doesn’t clear dirty glassware and dishes but the staff are very friendly. The breakfast room needs a little music or something to help the very echoey acoustics - some tiles on the ceiling or soft furnishings or fabric on the walls would help the sound a lot.

Spacious lovey grounds and gardens. The deluxe rooms are all brand new and the best value - they are beautiful.

Breakfast didn’t inspire. Impressive looking buffet but nothing much that I wanted to eat. Tired looking omelettes and eggs and no fresh orange juice even though they are literally dropping off the trees.

Like every time we stayed there at IDI Hotel we had a great time. The room for three is very pleasant and comfortable. The managing couple, the breakfast, the restaurant close by, trekking in the surroundings, everything exceptional.
