Was a slight smell of drains in the bathroom, the pool area is small and there aren’t many sun-beds available.

The breakfast was great and so was the location! The staff were polite and friendly and very willing to help.

Staff, location, service, organisation were all excellent - and I mean excellent. This is not a 3* Hotel. The service is 5*. 50/50 bar next door was very friendly and the hotel restaurant was excellent too.

The swimming pool was small and didn't seem as spotlessly clean as the rest of the hotel (which was immaculate!). The Aircon unit in our room worked but was dated and took a while to get going.

Superb location both an easy walk to the beach/marina and into the old town. Great breakfast with plentiful different options, lovely foyer and terrace area, and incredibly helpful staff.

The service at Hotel Ideon is incredible. We had to walk a little bit from our car with our suitcases in the heat, so once we arrived at the hotel, we were very hot and tired. After checking in, we were immediately offered iced water and to order coffee, which was lovely. The room was spacious and the touchpad switches for the lights, aircon and DND/cleaning were fantastic and super easy to use. The buffet breakfast changes everyday and has a wide variety of options. Highly recommend this hotel!

Has a very luxurious feel for a 3 star hotel. The staff, as is EVERYONE on Crete, is super friendly! Breakfast wasn't too fancy but had everything anyone would want-salty or sweet. The location is fantastic, you are very close to the sea, but also to the tourist centre.

The bathroom could have been a little larger. This did not spoil our holiday as it was modern, clean and perfectly adequate,

We were allocated a well appointed spacious room with a sitting area. The staff, from Michael at Reception to all others, especially Panos and Kostas, were pleasant and helpful and created a welcoming athosphere. The location at the edge of the Old Town and next to the harbour was ideal

Everything was great! Would have appreciated bottled drinking water in the room. And tea, coffee .

Location was excellent & very convenient for restaurants, the fortress, shopping, walk to the lighthouse. View from the room was awesome. Had a private balcony. Paid car park was very convenient. Good housekeeping. Breakfast was good too, nice places to sit in common areas. Baggage facility.
