A bit disappointing that one had to pay extra for beach towels and beach chairs. A bit annoying. But other than that it was all perfect :) Thank you for the lovely stay :)

Maybe kettle in the room would be good to have as it comes as a default even in the two-star city hotels.

Amazing place to be. Lovely gardens, great pools, even though it was high season we didn’t really feel the crowd as the hotel is so spread into a wide space with several pools abd restaurants. Mostly German speaking tourists but the food is purely Greek/mediterranean. Great entertainment for the kids. We will come back!

The resort is very nice, clean and well equipped, staff is very friendly, food is good. The resort is ideal for families with young children (lots of playgrounds, children pool's, high chairs in the restaurant...).

Everything is very good and nice.Rooms are big modern and clean, clean pool and nice staff at the reception and at the bar(Dorina) Food has very good variety and it is tasty.

You had to pay for safe box, you had to pay for beach towels, the rooms did not include kettle, vanity kit, hair conditioner (very hard water). The cleaning staff did not monitor the consumption of shampoo, soap to replace bottles. Also, although a beach hotel you also had to pay for sun beds and umbrellas. That side of the island is mostly windy so the beach was not usable for swimming for the majority of the days.

Comfortable rooms, good service, good food both the inclusive buffet and the resort restaurants. The resort was well structured so it did not feel crowded with many swimming pool areas. Also very family friendly with many playgrounds and kids activities.

As mentioned in our previous review written in 2021, there are many small children crying and making noise. But, as already mentioned, the adults-only restaurant Mosaico made it possible for us to have a peaceful and romantic dinner. Also the vast majority of guests are German-speaking, so the atmosphere is not really very Greek. But this did not bother us since we could take the local bus to nearby Mastichari for a more Greek experience.

This was our third time at the Horizon Beach Resort. We returned mainly for the beautiful beach and delicious food. The resort is also very clean, comfortable, and friendly. Not far from the airport, it can easily be reached by taxi so it was not necessary to rent a car. The new adults-only restaurant Mosaico is just wonderful. We ate dinner there every night.

There is potential to improve the buffet further.

If you are not visiting the town and would just like to stay casually within the resort, the location cannot be better. Pretty close to the airport, and the beach belongs to the hotel itself. The cleanness is really top!

Almost everything was perfect. If I have to give a suggestion aimed at improving the service of the resort I would like to have: One or two nights with a disco (most of the customers are families, but there are also many teenagers who do not know what to do after the dinner, especially because Kos Town is 20 min fa away). I would also suggest a street market (1 or 2 nights) selling typical greek stuff (for example you can take the inspiration from Tam Tam). Cocktails are poor. Better hire a specialist.

The staff is very professional, kind and friendly (especially the blonde haired Lady in the main restaurant). All the areas are PERFECTLY cleaned (I have never seen such a clean hotel/resort). Food is good, which is not easy when it come to cook for so many people.

The sea as I said is not the best but goes well with the overall, some rooms are far away from the sea so I would suggest to ask a room in a middle way area between sea and main restaurant. I Didn’t feel as much in Greece as I would have liked as the main language was German - not sure why! - and none of the facilities had any Greek character.

I liked the settings, the views, the location, the landscape, the sea is not the best but good enough, the beach is very nice, the food too. Beautiful sunsets

There could be a bit more shades for the children at the main playing ground. But that’s just a minor issue.

Very friendly staff, especially at the Symposium restaurant which we went to every day and also at the pizza restaurant for lunch at the beach. My little son loved the pizza! Also the cleaning staff was extremely competent and friendly. And regarding the location: every evening at the beach was just WOW! These sunsets are stunning.

I think the food in the two main restaurants could have been better and they should add evening theme to make the food different. More life station - cooking station would have been better.

Unfortunately we have experienced windy weather and wavy sea - good for adults, less for small babies. In time of less wind ideal for playing with kids

The facilities exceeded our expectation, the whole area was well preserved and maintained, service was always friendly and in time, good choice of meals, nice view from our room, a lot swimming pools and areas for children and babies and families, nice sandy beach, This resort is the ideal for families with children kids and babies. We prolonged our stay. There was wildfire on the island in the last day, the resort was untouched however due to chaos no taxis were operating however the manager of hotel arranged for us the other way of transport to the airport so that we succeeded to land off finally. Once more big thanks!

Spa: The person doing pedicures pulled off parts of my toe nails (while removing nail polish) which is insane - and painful.

There are several pools and restaurants, so if you’re staying for a week you can do something different every day. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. Spa: Swedish massage was very nice.
