There is a local high-way right by the hotel.

This hotel was a great choice for us and we enjoyed staying there. It’s a brand new hotel and everything is clean and new. The staff is very friendly and they try to résolve all your requests. We had a late flight and they let us prolong our stay and did a late check out. The breakfast is tasty with fresh fruits. In the hotel there is a very beautiful restaurant as well with Greek food. The beach is 5 min walk from the hotel.

I had a very pleasant experience during my stay. The hotel was able to accommodate an early check-in, which was greatly appreciated after a long journey. The staff were exceptionally friendly, professional, and attentive throughout our visit. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything we needed. On the day of our departure, the manager kindly arranged a taxi to the airport, making our checkout smooth and stress-free. Overall, the service was excellent, and I would not hesitate to return or recommend this property to others.

The rooms were a bit noisy specially from other guests moving around the hotel. The staff / front desk was not very helpful, e.g. we lost our key card one night (10pm) and the guy made it look like as if he was doing us a big favour.

The hotel was recently renovated and the facilities are brand new. The rooms were clean and the breakfast was good.

the breakfast was the same every day. the shower design doesn’t keep the water in so it does end up on the bathroom floor but housekeeping does a great job in cleaning your room.

The room was exactly as shown on the posting. the hotel was renovated/remodelled after the son took over his father’s hotel. the images you see on google map has a mix of old and how it looks today (the owners updated the site with its current look). It’s a beautiful property. the dining area for breakfast over looked the main road and was very pleasant setting. the hotel is across from some supermarkets but also near spar. the bus stop is about a 100m away going to rhodes town and also going to the airport on the other side (take the #50 or 51 at the bus stop near departures & it’s €3.30). Check in was quick and the owners were on site day or night. city taxes are separate from the payment for your stay so expect to pay that during your stay. ac is separate as well for €7 a night (much needed for the heat!) i had no regrets staying outside of rhodes town by staying in ixia. the beaches and coastline was way less busy than the beaches near the town. it was very easy to catch many buses into rhodes town and take the orange buses to the southern part of the island. there were good food around that didn’t cost as much as it would be if you ate in old town. the breakfast was rather monotonous over time (stayed for 4 nights and it was the same every morning) but it does fuel you up for the day. House keeping did a great job every day. I would recommend this hotel for a rhodes stay and being convenient enough to get around the island but also a good home base.

Excellent hotel very clean all facilities are brand ce new spacious rooms nice bath even type C chargers on the bed lights. Superb personnel 5 minutes from a very nice beach. Close to the Congress center! What a treat!

I had a perfect time during my stay at Hippocampus. The room was beautiful and spotless and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Tip: the hotel has also a restaurant bistro with delicious and fresh dishes!!! Highly recommended!!!

The toilet got blocked often and you have to pay extra for the aircon
