The best view, the cleanest hotel I’ve ever seen, a wonderful breakfast, and Mrs. Despina, the owner, is incredibly sweet and hospitable. The hotel is located above the center, but instead of using the stairs right next to it, we always walked about 150 meters down the main road and then took the big stairs on the left. For us, it was not tiring at all.🌼

Nothing wrong. But a couple of tips: Found it better to shower in the evening rather than first thing in the morning because water then hotter from the solar heater. If one drinks tea in the morning, bring your own milk (fridge in the room) because like all Greece it does "Caffee Creme" capsules - or drink it black.

Superb location, looking out over the harbour. A most wonderful hostess. And when she says "toast" at breakfast - she means a toasted cheese sandwich! Couldn't fit it in anywhere else but the best restaurant we found is Kritamos, just off the main shopping street and not on the harbour side.

Bathroom was very small and struggled to keep the water from going everywhere.Noise from other rooms on occasion.

View was amazing - access to Pythagoreia through the garden path...very hospitable owner and breakfast on the terrace was great. Having our own balcony - postage stamp size but incredible for an early morning mini stretch or evening nightcap. Close to eating places.

How can one find fault in perfection?

I can say that it was one of the best hotel experiences of my life. The owner of the hotel is a wonderful person. You rarely come across someone so sincere and genuine. I have no words to say about the location, breakfast, and room cleanliness. I would love to come back again and again.

From the first moment we arrived at the hotel until the day we left, we felt super cozy, comfortable, and peaceful at Hera 2. Our lovely host Ms. Despina was super friendly and cheerful. Our small talks during the breakfast service in the mornings were one of the best parts of our days. Our room was spacious, the bed was quite large and comfy, and the AC worked pretty good. The room was spotlessly clean when we first arrived and remained that way until the last day thanks to daily housekeeping. And the view of the room was just amazing. Yes you need to climb some steep stairs uphill in order to reach the hotel from the coast, but that's the price you need to pay in order to stay in a room with such a magical view of the entire coast of Pythagorio, and it's totally worth it. The hotel is a 5-7 minute walk from Remataki Beach and a 10-12 minute walk from Pythagorio Beach. You can reach the coast area, where all the restaurants and cafes are located, in 5 minutes by walking down the stairs. All in all, we loved everything about Hera 2, and it will definitely be our first choice next time when we go to Samos :)

The host was very polite and caring. The view of the hotel is definitely one of the best views of the island. If we come to Samosa again, this is the place where we will stay again without hesitation.

The view from the hotel is great, so you have to be willing to climb a little bit of a hill or steep stairs from the center, but we think it's worth it.

Despina is a very sweet person and very helpful. She made us a delicious toast for breakfast, the room was cleaned every day. The view from the room was extraordinary. We were very pleased. If I were to come again, I would stay here again.

There are basically two routes up to the hotel from the harbour. One involves steep and arduous stairs up located in a side street or another, longer route with an acceptable incline. The choice will depend on your age and level of fitness. Though once completed, you will feel good :)

Cozy and very homey. The view is fantastic. The breakfast was pleasant and supplanted with tasty home grown olives and excellent honey. Despina also kindly offered us freshly made hot cheese toasts every morning. Very good value for price. The room was cleaned spotlessly every day, beds were comfortable and air-conditioning gave us no trouble (don’t forget to close balcony doors for it to work!) Both Despina and Fay gave us good tips on where to eat and swim as well.

the view was great. The staff was very attentive. You have to risk walking a bit if you don't have a car. Since walking while watching the view was enjoyable for us, it was not a problem. I recommend sea view rooms.

Only cons was the steep roads to the hotel, but there is also an easier road which is a little longer.

Madam Despina was very helpful and friendly. Room has a great view and it was very clean. The breakfast was extremely satisfying and filling.

If you have big luggage take taxi it is not far from the harbor but you need to use stairs or walk around the city around 10-12 minutes.

The beaches are quite close. I like the view of my room it was just in front of Pythgorion sculpture. The breakfast was nice and prepared home made. The owner lady and her cousin was nice and funny.
