Old apartments but well equipped and with a great view down over Stalis to the sea once you've climbed all the steps. Very well located and central with a bus stop (no 28,) practically outside,shops and restaurants and also the beach within 5 minute walk. Got a warm welcome from Freedom who was very capably managing the apartments. Will be back.

You have to climb a lot of stairs to reach the room, there was a musty smell in the room, the bathroom was very narrow, the sheets smelled of very cheap detergent, but it was a very good apartment for the price, I definitely recommend it.

The location of the apartment is very nice, right on the beach, a very beautiful place with a sea view.

Our second time here. Location is perfect. Room 8, right at the top is the best!! You get all the sun and during peak season, use of the plunge pool too! The room is spacious and airy and you have a magnificent view too! The Resident Doggys are adorable; Scooby and Neela. They literally followed and stayed with us from the hotel throughout town and onto the beach, for hours. Love them! The hosts are lovely too. Will most definitely return but during peak season as it was rather quiet during March.

Unfortunately it's immediately in the big road so the traffic is noisy.

Has a separate room, sea view, spacious salon with well equiped kitchen and big terass. Very friendly host. Very good value for money.

The only issue I had was with the hot water, it could not reach higher than Luke warm.

Nothing bad to tell

I read some bad comments about the apaartments, so I did not expect very much, but I was suprised ... There is nothing bad to tell, the house is old but well maintained, very clean and equipped with everything one would need. I had an apartment with one bedroom, it had a big balcony with even two sunbeds and it was incredible cheap. Not far away from the beach and center either. So I keep this adress in my mind and can recommend this place to everyone who is looking for a valueable apartment around ...

It was comfy, next to the main road, really close to the beach, Manos and his wife was very welcoming, we had everything that we needed in the apartment for cooking and for shower and when we needed more stuff they bring us. There is a balcony and sunbed that is nice to sit there and around everything is green and dogs going around the apartments and just felt home.

Budget Apartments in Stalis. Lots of steps but lovely sea view in return. Basic old furniture and fittings but on the other hand has everything needed for a short stay and sheets towels etc are clean and changed regularly. Very handy for bus,shops and beach at an excellent price.

The internet is very slow, it's not recommended if you want to stay and work there. Also the area is the worst place in Crete with mass tourism, it's not recommended for people who want to experience authentic Greece.

Communication from owners , would panic alot of people , so the current system is walk up the stairs and there is a tiny notice board with your room and name number on it and your key will be hanging out your room front door ready for you , they offer a 40 euro taxi but if you have good flight times , there is a local bus service that drops off on the same road as apartment for 3.70 euro highly reccomended as it doesn't take that long to save some money . Pictures show a pool , very naughty miss leading at the time of my stay there is no pool on site , there is an empty pool on the next door apartments , so not sure if when this pool is full they share this but no indication for pool but a picture showing people on pool. Beaches and the sea are just amazing here so not end of the world.

Very nice, rustic apartment on the hillside overlooking the beach. Plenty facilities, comfy bed, nice terrace where one can enjoy a drink or a meal. The beach is just 5-10 min away, nice sandy one, lots of great restaurants and pubs to choose from- the whole resort has a nice vibe. The water is nice and shallow for a long while so lots of people can enjoy it, however if one would like to go for a long swim rather choose the morning or evening hours as during the day is quite busy because of the variety of water activities.

Very reasonably priced apartments in great location in Stalis: Close to the beach shops and restaurants and with bus stops for buses to airport/ Heraklion and Agios Nikolaus/ Ierapetra practically outside. Easy check in and no fuss.Have everything needed for a short stay.
