How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.

Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Great location - the beach is just 20 steps from the hotel and you can choose to stay at the swimming pool or to enjoy the beach and sea. The room - superior double room, was very clean and comfortable - big terrace, where you can enjoy the endless sea and drink your favourite cocktail at night or a cup of coffee in the morning. I strongly recommend visiting and staying at the hotel.

We liked room size, prizes, staff and sea is amazing!! I recommend this place absolutely to come and to see. Thank you Hotel Horis very much for your hospitality! Definitely We will be back soon.
We came for 1 day but hotel location, staff, sea, was perfect, so we extend for our staying 4 more days!! Perfect place!!!

Haris is a very cozy and clean Hotel at the Adriatic Ocean. Stavroula is a great host, sophisticated and speaks very good English. Highly recommended. Good beds, nice view, very clean. The biggest ficus tree ever in the middle of the staircase.

Everything was just amazing. We liked the beach, the room, the food and people treated us like gods. Next year for sure, this will be our place for vacation. It's a suitable place for children and we can’t wait to bring our son here.

Nothing at all. Everything exceeded expectations.
Great value, excellent location, meticulously clean and modern, pristinely decorated with flowers, super clean pool, private parking, great friendly staff and owners. All this right across from a beautiful beach. Room was even upgraded. This place was a super surprise and we won’t forget it.

Stavlroula was a very welcoming host and was happy to help with anything we needed. In the morning she helped us print our tickets and made us toast and coffee even though we hadn't booked breakfast. The room was spotlessly clean and the beds were very comfortable. We had a wonderful view of the beach, which is just 20m from the hotel. The pool had no water in it because the season hadn't started yet, but they were cleaning it and planning to fill it in the next couple of days.

great location right on the beach very clean and comfortable lovely welcome given upgrade as hotel not very busy at the moment hostess speak very good english and given some home baked goodies fort the road as I am traveling on bicycle this was very much appreciated . I can wholeheartedly recommend this property

we arrived during the beginning of April. In the village was almost nobody. it was one of the only place open in that period. She gave us a better room with a big balcony right in front of the see. during the night you can eat the waves and the wind from the see. the owner was really friendly, she helped us with everything and she offer us also a huge breakfast. The hotel was empty and she let us stay until midday. the place is magic, very recommended!

nothing, perfect place.
eveerything! beautiful bright room with sea view. very friendly and helpful staff. they let us take some tangerines and lemons from the trees in the back. we were there in off season and were the only guests in the entire hotel so we got a free room upgrade. amazingly comfortable bed. overall the best place we have stayed for the 3 months in the balkans. would absolutely recommend and would come again! incredible value for the price

This place is perfect!! It is spotless in every corner! The rooms are newly renovated and with a fantastic view to the sea, The beds are very comfortable , Thank you very much Stavroula!!! We will come back for sure!!! We had a very nice time with you!!

Everything!! The hotel and grounds are spectacular! Our room was so fresh and cozy, I really didn’t want to leave. The warm hospitality extended to us was the best we’ve experienced on our bike trip from Amsterdam. Breakfast was delicious and served with ❤️. HIGHLY recommend this lovely beachfront hotel!
