The property is as exactly as in the pictures, but some of the facilities are a little old. We had a nice view, but it's exactly on the main street and a bit noisy. Parking could be a problem. There is no beach on walking distance, only by car and property owner is happy to recommend. The pool was nice, but we hardly tried it.

There is nothing I didn’t like about the property but please be aware that there are steps to the upper floor and the pool area which would make it unsuitable for someone with mobility issues.

Stayed at the GreKa Ionian Suites for 10 nights in June. The appartments are a short walk to the resort centre . We stayed in a second floor apartment with 2 balconies both of which had fabulous sea views. The appartments interior was of traditional design and spotlessly clean. The bed was comfortable and the air conditioning efficient. My daughter joined us for a few days at the end of the holiday and there was plenty of space for an extra person. Aphrodite, the host, was a font of local knowledge and a great help to us in recommending beaches and restaurants to visit during our stay. There is a lovely swimming pool at the appartments with sufficient sun beds to accommodate the guests. I cannot fault the welcome we received from our host or the quality and cleanliness of the appartment. We will certainly be looking to return to stay at the GreKa Ionian Suites in the very near future.

Utterly stunning location looking out over the harbour, listening to the birds sing. The accommodation is very cleverly thought out with each apartment having a bedroom, bathroom, kitchenette, living area/daybeds (or could be used as extra beds) as well as a balcony. The apartments also had aircon, essential in July and August! The bedroom had a very comfy bed and shutters (a necessity when planning on sleeping beyond 6am - which we both were!). The rooms were cleaned every day. The host was lovely guiding us on beaches/restaurants/things to do. And the swimming pool was spotless.

The host, Aphrodite, was terrific at explaining the best places to go. Her information was relevant, accurate and correct. This lady makes sure that you have the holiday you want. The suite was all we could wish for and we will revisit.

My stay at the GreKa Ionian Suites was 10/10 5-Stars. The owner, Afroditi is always on hand to assist with taxis, hire cars and recommendations for the best places to visit on the Island. The suites are well equipped with comfy beds, powerful showers, aircon, wifi. The views of the bay are stunning.

Far exceeded our expectations. Beautiful location with fabulous views. Aphrodite, our host, gave great advice on local restaurants, where to visit and how to get there and was always available.

Afroditi met us on arrival even though we arrived late after 11.00pm, she welcomed us and showed us to the apartment. The apartment is well equipped for self catering including an oven (which you often don't get), it has a lovely comfortable bed and a great shower. There are two balconies (Kefalonia suite) one large and a smaller one with a fabulous sea view. Afroditi is a wonderful host and helped us to sort out an issue with our hire car by phoning the rental company so that we were able to return the car a couple of hours later than we had originally arranged, this is just one example of how Afroditi goes above and beyond expectations. My wife and I have been to Kefalonia 5 times over the past 8 years and this was the best apartment we have stayed at. To top it all there is a lovely swimming pool, never too busy. We hope to return.

Plumbing in Greece is the same everywhere! But nothing really a problem. We had a great time.

Afroditi is a wonderful host, her suites and pool and indeed the whole small complex are spotless and of a high standard. Afroditi really couldn't do enough for us. We loved that we were short walking distance from the beautiful village of Agia Effimia and its great Tavernas. Stunning views and lovely pool. We highly recommend and will be returning soon.

Beautiful location. Apartments are traditionally Greek. Very comfortable, extremely clean. Lucky to have such a lovely pool with loungers etc, not many people use it. So it’s virtually your own! Views from apartments are beautiful.Afrodite and the staff are so lovely, helpful and nothing is any trouble. The village has everything you could need. Lovely little beach by the Paradise cafe. Our favourite restaurant was Searock, excellent food and lovely ambience. Kefalonia is beautiful, Assos, Myrtos, Fiscardo all lovely but our favourite was the village where we stayed.

I think if we had been higher up, the steps may have been a problem. We are older and first floor was great for us.

We were in the Kefalonia Apartment which I think is the best but to get those spectacular panoramic views you have to be up high so there are many steps but well worth the climb 👍

Fantastic view , the best I’ve stayed in over the last 25 yrs …. Lovely and quiet just a short walk into the village 👍 private walk in pool . Immaculate linen & towels , Appartment spotlessly clean & so comfortable. Tv + Netflix was included so great on an evening , it’s very rare you get extras like this ….. ❤️ most definitely will return in the near future xx

Nothing! The kitchen could be a little bit better equipped but otherwise it was perfect!

Aphrodite was such a warm, generous and helpful host! She really made our stay 10x better. She gave us great recommendations, helped with transport, and was there whenever we needed something or to ask a question. The house was spotless and had amazing views. It was cleaned everyday, which was lovely to come home to each day. It was in the perfect location - shops, restaurants, pharmacy and beaches are all in a short walking distance. Beaches are beautiful in the north of the island. Couldn't recommend enough!

Lighting in the apartment was a little dim, but other than that all was fine.

Had a lovely stay at the Greka Ionian apartments. The location is perfect, you're right next to the town and a couple of quiet beaches. Afroditi is the kindest host you could possibly have, nothing is too much trouble, and she will supply you with practically anything you might need but haven't packed!

Afroditi is an excellent host and she really cares about their guests. There was not a single wish of ours that wasn't fulfilled. The apartment was super clean and it was refreshed every day! Not even to mention the view of the whole Agia Efimia village from this cute balcony! higly recommended for families with children!

Amazing location only a short walk away from plenty of restaurants/bars/coffee shops. Aphroditi was an absolutely wonderful host who gave us tons of helpful information and top places to visit on the island. The apartment was very clean with everything we could need!
