We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.

By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomPool surface was rough and grazed the children's feet after a day, they wore socks after and that was better (but the pool tore holes in their socks). The pool is beautiful so don't let this put you off, but bring old socks or beach shoes.
Beautiful location, big pool. Very comfortable double bed. Clean and friendly staff. Pool towels provided. Fridge by pool for guests to use - stock up at Lidl before you arrive! Small supermarket and beach with restaurants within walking distance. Greater choice of restaurants in Pelekas village so having a car is ideal - if you are happy with Corfu roads!

United KingdomQuite rural location with tricky roads to access. Something was sharp on the floor of the pool maybe the white plastic filters? Our children kept hurting their feet. You need a car with at least a 1.6 engine and a confident driver. (Advice on the location rather than criticism of apartments)
Stunning location and views. Very clean rooms. Beautifully maintained and carefully thought out. Attention to detail such as salt and pepper, washing up liquid, flowers and wine on arrival. At one point during out stay the lovely owner Theodore brought us fresh figs. The gardens and pool were stunning. A short walk to the beach and kind agreement for sun beds with the owners son who runs Nagual bar, where there was delicious food.

FranceNothing except maybe the steep roads to access the complex. Taxi or scooter are good alternatives.
Stefanos helps us a lot during our stay : taxi, scooter rental, etc : everything was smooth and easy. We felt at home. The complex has a stunning view upon the sea and Pelekas is a very typical village nearby. People were very welcoming there.

SlovakiaWeak Internet signal, but is it really the main thing when you are in such a beautiful place! ;)
Good day to all! The apartments had a very beautiful view of the sea and mountains. Clean, pleasant apartment with a balcony where you can have breakfast and dinner with a beautiful view of the sea. In 7 minutes walk there is a nice clean sandy beach with a shallow entrance to the water. Suitable even for small children! On the territory of the hotel there are two swimming pools, for adults, children and very small children! Everything is very clean and everyone works! Very beautiful and well-kept territory! Good service and pleasant compliments from the owners in the form of a bottle of wine, local liqueur and water were waiting for our family upon arrival! Thanks to the owners! They created a nice place on a beautiful island! P.S. I recommend renting a car at the airport right away and this will be the best option for solving the issue of traveling around the island!

IsraelThey are not cons to the hotel, but to the village itself: -Steep and narrow roads in the village... (I mention it for people who go on vacation by car.) -There is only one supermarket there.(
We were on vacation in September and were surprised by the wonderfully warm and pleasant weather. We were prepared for the beauty of the hotel and the service by the reviews on booking.com, but on the spot we saw that in reality it was much more magical. My family and I were in Corfu for the first time and decided to celebrate my daughter's birthday there. The kind hosts gave us a big sweet and beautiful birthday cake. And, upon our arrival, a bottle of wine and water awaited us in the apartment. The kitchen in our apartment, which consisted of 2 rooms, 2 bathrooms and a lounge, was rich with all the necessary electrical appliances, dishes and utensils. The beds in the bedrooms were soft and very comfortable. The bathroom also had everything you need, such as towels, soaps, shampoos, a hair dryer, etc. The apartment was cleaned frequently and with great care. (There is a specially equipped barbecue area for those who wish.). (There is a large free parking lot at the hotel.) The hotel has a magnificent swimming pool for adults and a children's pool from which there is a view of the entire bay. The hotel garden is on floors and regularly maintained by gardeners. It is important to mention that the beach is made of fine sand and the water is shallow very far into the sea and therefore suitable for small children. The water was clean and pleasant for swimming even at the end of September. The hosts were available at all times and answered all our questions. We want to express our gratitude to Green Hill Resort and we highly recommend it!!

United KingdomYou need a car to get around as not convenient otherwise but very hospitable hosts and it was a lovely location to enjoy some relaxing. We kept our fitness levels up with the walks up from the beach.
Beautiful views from the balcony and by the pool. Spacious apartment with very useful door and window screens to keep any mosquitoes at bay thus helping us to get a good nights sleep 😀

United KingdomNot anyone's fault but the resort had closed for the season. No bars, restaurants open. However, family took us to the big supermarket and we stocked up. Had to cook for ourselves, but was worth the trade off, to have the place to ourselves.
Idyllic location, lovely views. Place to ourselves

South AfricaNothing bad at all to say about the accommodation. Just a tip, it's best to have a car to explore Corfu, there's some excellent restaurants in Old Corfu town. It's important to be an experienced driver as the roads are quite narrow, steep and rough.
We were warmly welcomed by Theodore, the owner. The owners were absolutely lovely! The views, my gosh! Absolutely stunning. We were there for 7 days. The apartment had a kitchenette, so we could store our groceries and snacks and enjoy them on the balcony while viewing the sea. We received fresh towels daily for both the bathroom and the beach. A 3 minute walk down a small hill and you're right on the beach..

FinlandThe hills surrounding the property are long and steep, which may not be suitable for those with mobility challenges. While the beach is within walking distance, and there are restaurants and a small minimarket nearby, the selection is limited. Although the location is beautiful and peaceful, a car is necessary for access to a wider variety of shops and amenities. Corfu is known for its narrow and steep roads, and Pelekas is no exception, making driving a bit challenging.
Perched atop a hill, the property offers breathtaking sea views and a horizon that showcases stunning sunsets. Surrounded by lush greenery, it features an abundance of olive trees, lemon trees, and vibrant flowers, creating a picturesque setting. The swimming pool area is thoughtfully designed, making it an inviting space for all ages, from adults to young children. Just a short walk away lies Kontogialos Beach, also known as Pelekas Beach, famous for its golden sands and crystal-clear waters — perfect for little ones to enjoy. The friendly owners take great pride in maintaining cleanliness throughout the property, ensuring a comfortable stay. The beds are of high quality, providing a restful retreat after a day of exploration. We truly fell in love with the location and the property, and we cannot wait to return for another unforgettable experience!

SlovakiaThis is not negative for the apartment for locality. You need to be a confident driver to get here. At the time of our arrival, part of the super steep road was totaly destroyed- means just plain rocks, so we were lucky to have an SUV. Also restaurants were closed in october and only one supermarket in village was super expensive (f.e. bread for 4euro)
Stunning place with beautiful views. Some reviews say that the apartment is small but we were suprpriced how spacious it was, so we dont understand these negative reviews. Owners were super nice and greeted us with a bottle of super tasty vine. Beach is the best we visited on Corfu and it is steep, but managable walk (10 minutes with out 2yo baby).

UkraineGreen Hill Resort is an excellent choice for a peaceful and relaxing vacation. The view from the room is absolutely breathtaking, and the village atmosphere is quiet and serene, perfect for those seeking tranquility. The room itself is well-equipped with all necessary kitchen appliances and utensils for cooking, which is great for those who prefer to prepare their own meals. The air conditioning is a welcome feature, ensuring comfort even on hot days. Upon arrival, we were pleasantly surprised to find a bottle of homemade wine from the owner waiting for us in the room. This thoughtful gesture was much appreciated, and the wine was delicious! The resort boasts a swimming pool on its premises, offering guests an alternative to the beach and a refreshing way to cool off. The beach is sandy with a gentle slope into the sea, making it ideal for swimming. There are several bars and restaurants near the beach. The resort is about a 10-minute walk from the beach. However, it's worth noting that the hotel is located on a hillside. This means the uphill walk back to the apartments might be challenging for some guests. Driving up can also be a bit tricky due to the steep incline. A standout aspect of Green Hill Resort is the owners' hospitality. They are extremely friendly and polite, which adds greatly to the overall positive experience. The complimentary homemade wine is just one example of their warm welcome.

SlovakiaThis apartment is on the hill, you have to be ready walk to the beach up and down like 10 minutes.. Our grandma had a little problem to walk there. At the pool is no service, you have to bring your drink with you. It was a little difficult to find it by car, the roads are not good in Corfu..
We loved the see view from our apartment. The view from the pool was also perfect, the pool was very relaxed almost like a private pool. our son has enjoyed a lot. We enjoyed also a jacuzzi. The owner was also very kind and helpful. He prepared for us the bottle of rose as a warm welcome, it was really nice. The beach is really beautiful, sun beds are everywhere, you pay 10-15 euros for the set.
