Outside furniture was uncomfortable. Also needs some maintenance as some areas look in need of some tidying up. A BBQ would be a nice addition and a better equipped kitchen

The location was incredible! Right across the road (or under the underpass) from a lovely little beach! Pool was bigger than expected. As was the apartment and outside areas! Everyone we met was lovely and getting around was easy. Bus stop right outside, water taxi available from the beach, plus the taxi number the hosts gave us was great: always with us within 15 mins!

The en suite bathroom had a jacuzzi bath with shower head but had to sit down to hold the shower so really the villa only had 1 shower in the main bathroom. A second shower would have made it perfect for 6 of us.

Great villa for group of 6. View over the sea was lovely. Access to beach great, 2 minutes away. Water sports on beach were good. Very friendly and helpful staff. Good bus route to anywhere.

Although we had a fantastic stay there are a few little tweaks that could be made.to make a holiday here more comfortable. Limited plug sockets in the kitchen area are in an awkward position making it a bit of a pain to plug in the kettle or coffee machine. Only a weak pressure shower head over the bath in the master bedroom so all 5 adults had to share a bathroom for showering. The toilet cubicle in the master bedroom is very small making it difficult for those with longer legs to fit comfortably. Frosted glass on some of the toilet doors making them less private. Twin beds in one bedroom very uncomfortable. Lack of shade by the pool during the day, an extra umbrella would be great. More towel hooks A small bin

If you are choosing to go to Skiathos there is no better place to stay than Golden King Villas! Even before we got there they couldn’t do enough for you. A lovely girl called ‘Sunday’ picked us up from the airport she was informative, friendly and even lugged a 22kg case to our villa which she shouldn’t have 🙈. We arrived at night so we’d asked in advance if they could pick up some essentials for the villa (nothing was too much trouble). The Villa- stunning view, on the terrace, pool, and even from the bedrooms. Modern and immaculately clean and everything was perfect for our family of five! Everyday the friendly cleaners transformed any family chaos into a hotel like experience. Clean towels, bed linen and even dressing gowns for the beautiful hot tub. We had a family wedding whilst on the island so had many family members staying in various locations and none could compare to this place! I almost don’t want to let others know so we can keep this place our secret. Location wise- there is a regular bus (bus stop 7) that goes both to Skiathos Town and to other beaches to bus stop 26. There is also a handy underpass that leads onto the beach which has a lovely restaurant and water sports for the older kids. There is also a water boat taxi which is slightly more than the 2 euro bus ride. We will definitely be back maybe with a hirer car next time so we can explore more of the island. Best holiday we’ve had in years! 10/10

The kitchen space was small, but we ate out most nights, so not too much of a problem.

Great location, good villas. This was our second time at Golden King and we would go back. The local beach is great. There is a bus stop outside the Villa and it's only a short ride from the town

The driveway to the villa is very steep, you need to be fit - but that is what you expect to get such amazing views!

Location was perfect for us, close to the beach, size of the apartment was great for our family. Loved the bedrooms were on a different level from the living area. Staff were fantastic and super attentive. Loved the underpass to the beach, pool was a great size and ideal we had our own. Beds were comfy. Aircon was super efficient.

Location was fab with beautiful views and an easily accessible bus stop. There’s also a tunnel to the closest beach. Also loved the private pool. Staff were also lovely.

The water pressure on the island of Skiathos is not very good, and not as we're used to — we needed to accustom ourselves to slightly weak showers.

Excellent, well-appointed villa with a private pool and terrace, separate kitchen area, marble stairwell and access to beach. The friendliness of the staff, both the cleaners and the host liaison, made us feel immediately at ease and taken care of. Any issues or questions we had (such as re-setting the air conditioner and fixing a sticky door) were attended to promptly. We were picked up from the airport and given a lift to the accommodation, and sent us a forgotten item via DHL. Outstanding accommodation and service.

Such a fabulous villa in an amazing location. Great views, stunning pool, lovely host and amazing rooms! The cleaners were so lovely and kept the house spotless.

The shower in the main bedroom was not very strong so we used the family shower, which was fine for us as we were only 4 but I can imagine it being a problem if there were 5 or 6 people staying.

Loved the pool and the views, which we could enjoy from a choice of outdoor sofas. The rooms were clean and comfortable and it was opposite the little beach with our favourite beach bar (Vasillias). The bus stop was very close if we wanted to venture out or taxis were a cheap option too. Skiathos town was a 20 minute walk so we had plenty of options.

I think the only bad thing I have to say is that the villa could of had a bigger bin, was 6 of us staying and the bin was rather small. To be honest this did get emptied every day apart for 1 day, but when there's 6 people drinking and eating a lot of waste piles up quickly. But did mention this to Sunday whilst staying here and she said she will definitely look at it for future. Oh and the lock and keys, we had 3 keys but only 1 swipe key worked, 2 of us got locked out one night and I did call her at 12:30 at night and she did come round to let us in so it's like I can't complain really. But yes again mentioned to Sunday and she said she's looking into getting this sorted too :).

Sunday our host was outstanding, never had a host that has gone out of their way so much. From picking us up at the airport and then dropping us back off to meet our friends, to coming over to the villa to see how we are getting on, offering advice, calling maintenance guy to check on things and to even giving us jumpers for a boat trip to keep us warm. Sunday made our simply trip even more simpler.
