Double bed was fine. Two extra beds were simple unacceptable. Mattresses were inexistant. Worst beds possible ever! Iron rods were hurting our backs. Very nice owner tried to fix the problem but it got worse. You would never even believe that such beds exist. It was surreal!

It is a bit far from Oia center, and it's best of you had a car. I missed that there was no tea nor coffee in the room for the guests to use, no welcome drinks either.

The whole stay was great. The room was nice, neat and very clean and it had a really nice decoration. The balcony was spacious, had a great view, you could easily watch the sunset from there. The pool was also nice, clean, sunbeds were avaiable. I also loved the garden. The kitchen had a fridge, coffee maker it was well equipped.

The place was not kept, the sorounding very dusty, TV control had no batteries,made a call and was never fixt, the pool was cleaned on our last day.

If you don't have a car there is a relatively steep walk to Oia which is nearby. Not recommended in the heat. Bus transport is available one way for a return journey to the accommodation.

George, the property owner/manager, was one of the best hosts encountered during our two weeks in Greece. Nothing was too much trouble for him. He provided friendly and personal service combined with good advice about the facilities, transport, and moving around Santorini. We loved his friendly dog and pet parrot.

It was a good 30 minute walk uphill to Oia. Other than that, property was very nice.

The host George and his family were very accommodating. He even drove me and my family to Oia in the evenings as it is a long walk. Constantly checked if we were okay and in general lovely place to stay with wonderful views!

Great value for money ! 20 minutes waliking from oia city centre. The road to the city centre is an uphill road , if you do not want to walk, 2 mins walking there is the bus stop. Cozy tipical greek house with really helpful and friendly owner! Good breakfast included in the price served on a beautiful big terrace overlooking the sea.

Very quiet, at 2 km from Oia and its crowds. Very large terrace overlooking the very nice swimming pool. Georgios was very friendly and always willing to give a lift to Oia.

The air-conditioner could be placed in a different part of the apartment as it did not cover the bedroom sufficiently. Our children complained about the uncomfortable mattresses in the living room. Other than that, I have nothing to note.

Situated in a quiet area, away from the traffic, but still close to Oia, coupled with the refreshing northern breeze, it had everything a family needed. A very nice swimming pool suitable for kids with shaded areas too. The apartment was spacious and well-equipped, the hosts were there for any assistance and to fulfill any breakfast wishes. A true value for money. Thank you!

We absolutely loved our stay at Santo Margarita. The location is great, just a short walk from a bus stop with easy connections to Fira and Oía – perfect if you’re not renting a car. The room was spacious, clean, comfortable, and everything worked perfectly – air conditioning, hot water, Wi-Fi etc. You can tell the place is well taken care of. But the highlight was definitely the owner, who was extremely kind and helpful throughout our stay. Always available for anything we needed, and made us feel truly welcome. I 100% recommend staying here and would definitely come back. A wonderful place to enjoy Santorini!

Outside grounds were unkempt, with overgrown trees and shrubs obstructing paths around the apartment building and pool. Swimming pool & loungers looked dirty and we would not have went into the pool. Room had been recently renovated but not to a good standard. Concrete bed base not a good idea. Sharp corner caused cut to leg within an hour of arriving. Table in room was rusty, no bedside lamps. On the balcony the drying rail was rusty and unusable. No mirror of any kind in the bedroom/kitchen. Dead batteries in the TV controls and in the safe (which was not attached to the wall?) Smell of smoke from other guests next door. Small kitchen area, very ill equipped with dead insects on the shelves where crockery and glasses were stored. Most importantly there was NO HOT WATER in the shower or sinks, so we had to shower cold. When we complained George told us to wait 10 mins and try again, this made no difference. The bathroom décor was very dark and gloomy, very small, toilet area, and would cause difficulty for some people. Nowhere to set or store toiletries. Shower area very dark and not lit. It is a good 30 mins walk all uphill to Oia. The road is very busy with little or no footpaths so very dangerous particularly at night. A car is really needed, but then you struggle to park anywhere in Oia in the evening with the sunset visitors everywhere. Oia area is overpriced, overrated and with crowds swelling through the small streets, not recommended as a place to stay in Santorini unless you have a lot of money ! Breakfast, which we had as part of our deal was served in a dirty outside area with dirty tables and chairs, and prepared in an outbuilding, which from what we could see did not look hygienic. Not recommended. In our case we had booked and paid for 4 nights. We only stayed for one night as the standard of accommodation was unacceptable. No refund was forthcoming from the host. We found much better and cheaper accommodation in Kamari

Amazing host! George made sure that my stay was as comfortable as possible:) I was there for work so I needed a comfortable, clean and relaxing place for a week and I couldn’t have asked for a better place. The pool was nice and breakfast was great. The location is around 20 minutes walking distance to Oia but George was very helpful in case I needed a lift to Oia The hospitality of George and his family is definitely the highlight of my trip Highly recommended 10/10 Thank you George and see you again soon :)

Very good place for visiting Santorini. Very good conditions for sleeping. Owner is very very helpful. Very close to Oia. If you not use a car you have 4 minutes by walk Bus Stop to Fira. I recommend Santo Margarita.

George is amazing ! My partner & I spent a night here and George went above and beyond ! From greeting us with coffee and juice to helping me get to the closets hospital around town . Whatever you need he doesn’t hesitate. The apartment was very spacious for just the two of us which was great, clean and organized. Just about 20-25 minute walk to the town . Will definitely be back here !
