How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

A truly pleasant stay. The staff was fantastic: kind, helpful, and always smiling. The property was very clean, actually spotlessly clean, which I really appreciated. The rooms were spacious, cool, and well furnished, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. A special thanks to the cleaning lady, who was friendly and always available, making our stay even more enjoyable with her warmth. Also, the host was very welcoming and greeted us with a delicious local Santorini wine, a gesture that made us feel instantly at home. Highly recommended for those seeking comfort and hospitality.

Excellent position to visit the island, close to Fira and well connected with bus. The staff has been always available for any information. Last but not least the accomodation was clean (the towels were changed every day).

The air conditioning in apartment 3 works but it does not cool the room. Please fix for the next customers.

the airport shuttle was ExPeNsiVe..30 euro for less than 4 kilometers

I liked everything from check-in to check-out including friendly staff, cleanliness, facilities, comfort and just 10 min distance to Fira Bust Station. Mr Jack is really helpful person and even guide you to make your visitng plan in Santorini if you ask.

Very friendly host! The host was always present and very helpfull. Although remoted from the center and from the shops, I loved the location on the border of Karterados. It was quiet and I enjoyed the walk to the main road, to the busstop. The room was very clean and was cleaned every day. It was nice to have plates, cups and cutlery. I was very happy sitting on the balcony with a cup of coffee.

The room was very cosy and spotless, cleaned by a cleaner daily. The host was super friendly, helpful, and understanding. He let us in at 01:00 am and was there always when we needed him. He gave us the schedule for the buses from the nearest bus top. Beforehand, I let him know I booked the trip for my girlfriend's birthday and requested a message and flowers/wine in the room - he did it all + provided a bottle of homemade red wine for us to try. Also gave us a large bottle of water as tap water in Santorini isn't drinkable which was a really kind gesture! Overall, the host was amazing and the place was immaculate (especially with it being only 20mins walk away from Fira).

Nothing to complain about, it was perfect!
It was clean and ready for our arrival which was very late in the evening! Staff was waiting for us despite our late check in. We were received with a local wine and a water bottle in our room which was lovely!

We stayed just the one night as we had flown in from the UK and were on our way to the island of Sikinos. The hotel organised taxis from the airport and to the port. There are a couple of tavernas, mini markets & a bakery within a 5 minute walk of the hotel. All as expected and required.

Its a small but very narrow street. I rented a small car and was still worried about driving in such a tight space. This may not be an issue if you are used to driving manual transmission car in narrow streets.
Property owner is very kind. Graciously allowed early check-in. Answered all my questions. Good facility. Centrally located. Fira , airport, Kamari beach are within 5 to 15 minutes drive. Oia is 25 to 35 minutes drive depending on what part of Oia you are going to.

The host was really friendly and helped a lot with recommendations. We had a small problem and he was super kind in solving it. The place was in a small village with private parking and many places with everything you need. They recive you with a shot of Santorini wine!!

The location is about 25-35 mins of walk from Fira.
The host is a very easy-going person and always helpful, especially thinking that many on the island are very business-oriented. His room is clean and tidy and the price is also reasonable.
