quiet neighbourhood, local people, small businesses with a variety of foods to choose, some nightlife if you want to have a drink and ofc plenty of spots to choose and go for a swim. very good for a getaway. as for the apartment, mr filippos was really polite and helpful with everything. a good choice overall!

Everything was absolutely perfect!! The location is ideal, just a few minutes' walk to all the shops and restaurants, by the sea (with sea view), on a quiet spot, ideal for families. The owner made us feel at home, extremely helpful and always with a smile on his face. The apartment was very spacious and comfortable, clean and fully equipped with everything you might need: kitchen, amenities, oven, big fridge, hairdryer, 2 tvs and 2 a/cs. As a family with a toddler, we appreciated all the space and comfort! Whether you are traveling as a family and need to relax, or as a couple ready to explore the surroundings, you have found the ideal place to stay! Filippos Apartments is perfect for family vacation! Rooms are spacious, have a full kitchen - very well equipped with everything a family with small children will need! The sea view is majestic. I have to mention the sound proofing of the rooms, which is great! Over a 4 nights stay, with all rooms full with families with small children, we barely noticed other guests, let alone be disturbed by them. Finally Filippos, the man himself, is amazing! Everyday treated us with his cakes, and at our disposal around the clock to help us have the best possible experience at Amarynthos. Definitely will return for a future stay!

Perfect accomodation. We felt very welcomed by our host Filippos. He made sure we had everything we needed and more, bringing us fruit from his garden and freshly grilled fish. He also checked in with us every morning bringing some cake. The apartment itself had everything we needed, very modern and clean with a nice view from the balcony over the harbour of Amarynthos. Cafes and restaurants are in walking distance. You can go swimming directly in front of the apartment at a little beach. The water is very smooth and clear, just be aware of sea urchins. Thank you very much Filippos for a lovely holiday!

nothing, everything just absolutely brilliant

In one word: GREAT ! Amazing hospitality by the owner! Every morning we were treated with some homemade goodies like baklava. And one night, we were even served with freshly grilled fish, catched earlier that morning! Very clean apartment, all what you need for your stay is available, and else just ask, it will be arranged in minutes! Location is perfect: near the beach (please note: this town cannot be compared with the touristic towns/cities on the Greek islands, this is far more authentic hence less developed !!) and just a two minutes walk to some very good fish-restaurants (one is actually just next door !). Will definately come back !

The owner waited for us, although we arrived late, to personally hand the keys to us. He explained everything about the property and gave us some tips about the region. Also, the sea view was fantastic and the veranda of the property had a retractable tent for our convenience.

Everything was perfect

Everything was perfect! Before we even arrived communication was superb, all questions answered immediately. We were greeted at the apartment very warmly, shown around and made to feel very welcome. A brochure of the island had been prepared by Fillipos son and was very useful. There was also fresh fruit and water in the fridge. The apartment was immaculate, clean and modern with every facility you could possibly need and a super comfy bed too. The view was breathtaking! Overlooking a picturesque harbour and out to sea, unbeatable. We would lie in bed with the balcony doors open (mosquito blinds in place) and fall asleep listening to the sea, so very peaceful. The location is perfect, moments away from shops, tavernas and the bus stop, which was perfect for us as we don't drive. It was very easy to get round the island and across to the mainland too. So, apartment, location, all perfect, but.....the best bit were the hosts Fillipos was amazing, so warm and welcoming, nothing too much trouble. We had gifts of chocolate and sweets, freshly caught and cooked fish, home made cakes and desserts. Sheets and towels changed regularly. Thank you so much for making our stay in a beautiful, peaceful place even more special. We will be back! Diana and Mark.

There was not anything that I did not like. Everything was perfect, from the booking process, to contact from the hosts, to my stay and departure. My only regret was not staying longer, but after meeting the hosts, I know I made a friend for life, and I am already looking to book another stay with them in the future with more friends travelling to stay with me.

From the start of my booking, the hosts contacted me weeks before to make sure all the details of my arrival were clear, and they made every effort to contact me again a couple of days before to make sure the arrival details were still the same. From the moment I spoke to the hosts on the phone, to meeting them at arrival, and throughout my stay, they were amazing. I can say in all my worldly travels past 30 years, this host and his son, were the best I have met. From their friendliness, to their eagerness to please my needs, to making me feel like home, they were the best and I highly recommend to reach out to them before or during your stay, they are eager to please all their guest.
