Friendly owners, great breakfast, nice location. Fine pool and sun beds. Quiet due to off-season traveling. Taxi to Ermopouli city centre 10 euro’s. Nice little town with lots of bars, restaurants and boutique shops. Syros, a great place to stay!

The room lacked a few touches that would bring this resort to a 10 for me. Things like a bedside table and pegs to keep clothes that are drying on the rail and a few cups. The curtains could have done with being replaced. But none of this stopped us from having an amazing time. The breakfast was fine, but again a few touches could have made it amazing.

We loved our stay at Faros Resort. The pool area overlooking the sea is amazing. You can swim in the pool and look out at the sea. There are lots of comfortable sunbeds to lounge on. The staff were lovely and really helpful. It is a family run business which helped make us feel comfortable and looked after. The private beach although very small was a really peaceful place to sit. The room had great aircon which was very much appreciated on hot days. The whole place was very relaxing and a short walk to a great beach, great restaurants and bars and a shop. I would recommend staying at Faros Resort and Syros is an amazing island with great food, culture and beaches.

You could order drinks and some food during e day but no bar or restaurant available.

Breakfast was plentiful and good choice. The location was lovely, amazing views and short (hilly) walk to the restaurants.

Best to have a car. It is a ca. ten minute walk up and down to the little village with beach, store and restaurants, which is fine, but a car is also nice to be able to access other (even nicer) beaches on the island.

Some of the rooms need updating- the beds were a mixture of new and not very new, same with the air conditioning. None of the lovely balconies have shade which makes them unusable in the day (though this looks to be a work already in progress). No yea and coffee facilities in the room.

Lovely family run hotel, super friendly and nothing too much trouble. Fabulous pool and pool area, huge pool lots of shady lounging and seating areas with pool service. Large clean rooms with great views.

Without a car it is a bit difficult to get around.

If you have a car, it is located near Ermoupolis. It is one of the few options on the island with a pool. Good breakfast.

Very nice swimming pool, there is a private beach. The room was very spacious and clean. The bathroom quite small for the size of the room. The breakfast was so so, good to start the day but not delicious. Overall I really recommend this hotel for a stay in Syros.

The kids pool was empty and also didn’t have a fence. The pool is lovely but incredibly deep very quickly with no additional steps. The room lacked a few things to make it a true 4 star hotel. The beach at the hotel is very small and not suitable for children. It could also do with regular maintenance to make it possible to swim. Although there is a bar it was always shuttered, although drinks were available. We didn’t try the room menu, but it was also not possible to order from the room as there are no phones. The bathroom had a hole in the floor where a drain cover should be, which was covered by the toilet brush holder which was regularly knocked over. The second bedroom only had one plug socked in an inconvenient place, and the ceiling fan had no speed controls. The ac is also in the other room with a dividing door so it got quite hot. On the first night we arrived there was a large group of high school age children staying. It didn’t give off the best first impression. They were a little noisy and on one night there was a shouting match between the teacher and one of the students in the middle of the night.

The host family were very friendly and welcoming. We felt at home rather than simply guests. The room had an uninterrupted view of the sea, and the other islands. So quiet and peaceful. Overall it’s a really lovely place to spend time with great views, very comfortable well appointed pool area. Plentiful fresh breakfast each day.

The bathtub in the bathroom is somewhat impractical for showering. There is no blind in the room, only a curtain, it is already quite bright in the morning, just for your information. Investment proposal: I missed a fully automatic coffee/cocoa machine for self service at breakfast :)

Very quiet resort (when I was there there weren't many other guests), somewhat secluded. The private beach of the resort was small and rocky, but very idyllic for lingering and watching the sea. Pool area with several sunbeds very high quality, modern and great ambience, beautiful view downhill to the sea. Rersort only with breakfast, but its only a 10-minute walk to the small village of Azolimnos where are restaurants and a minimarket. Room: window in the bathroom with mosquito net!
