Room did not offer much by way of cooking facilities and it was little ackward having to do dishes in the small bathroom, but again, not a big deal for us.

Owner was very nice and accommodating, including when we had to make a last minute change to the reservation, really appreciated it. Location was good, parking available at a nearby lot. Room was small but offered basics for a quick overnight stay.

Charming host family (3-generations), always offering us some small treat, like cake, cheese pie, mizithra. Private parking a plus. Great location, on side street but 2 minutes from restaurants, beach, etc.

A gorgeous guest house run by a lovely Greek family with all generations present. We felt very looked after by Doria and her family - they really were such friendly people…thank you for the cake and coffee. Room had everything we needed and lovely balcony facing the cliffs.

The apartment was wonderful, clean, comfy and located right in the center of Matala. They have their own parking lot which is a gated lot. Parking in Matala can be difficult to find so having a dedicated spot was really helpful. The owners are super friendly and helpful. Even though we rented an apartment there was daily linen service. All of the restaurants and beaches were within a very short walk. I would definately stay here again.

The room we stayed in was a bit small. But there’s a cupboard in the room, so there’s enough storage available. If you have big suitcases just put it on top of the cupboard. You cannot charge your belongings (laptop, phone, whatever) once you leave the room, because there’s only one electricity card and you cannot separate the card from the room keys. So also the AC is off once you leave the room. But once you come back and are able to turn it on again, the room cools down very fast.

Clean room, very friendly staff/family. Close to the beach and in the center of Matala. Very quiet, so you can sleep well. Comfortable mattresses. Good Wifi. Parking is free, only 1-2 min walk from the hotel. Great balcony. There’s also a little kitchen and a fridge in the room, lovely.

There was nothing we didn't like but a black out liner on the patio door curtains would be a nice extra.

Great location, friendly family owned business. Compy beds and room serviced daily. Free parking in a locked carpark. Fridge and small selection of utensils and plates, everything you needed. We would not hesitate to return and stay again. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Nothing, it was a delightful stay ! We wish we could have stayed longer with Doria and her family

The location is perfect to explore Matala and the Red beach on the other side. The garden of the house is very cute, we had a spacious terrace, too, and the bed was very confortable. On top of everything, and the most important, Doria is an absolute gem - we stayed for one night and she welcomed us like we were going to stay for a month. Thanks a million Doria for your kindness, all the best for you and for your sweet family, too. Camille and Maël

That you had to keep all the doors and windows closed to use A/C unit. I like the windows open for fresh air and a fan going. And you can use the fan on the unit and it’s the only one.

With our room facing the garden and on the ground floor, we felt like there was not much privacy.

This was a cute property Will located. The whole staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were basic , but will kept and everything looked quite new. They offered coffee and cake when we arrived which was a nice touch. I believe it was the grandmother that made the cake. The place just made you feel good.
