Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The maintenance guy entered the room around 10 minutes before checkout as we prepared to leave. Would appreciate it he would at least wait for us to exit.
Everything was as described, so I recommend it to anyone on a budget looking for a stress-free stay within Chalkida.

Everything was great, the bathroom and the balcony could use some more decoration, but that is just personal preference.
Very comfortable room, more spacious than what it looks like in the pictures. Well taken care of, coffee and water were provided as well. Located in a quiet area of the city, perfect for relaxation.

This didn't ruin MY experience, but 2 cents for thought...bed was not very comfortable, something was up with matress. Please, add bowls to your kitchen inventory, i had to eat breakfest oatmeal out of glass 😁. No microwave.
Great location. Everything was very neat and pretty. Most amazing balcony - very huge with comfy chairs. Kitchen has kettle and capsule coffee maschine. Apartment very spacious in safe area. Easy comunication with host who was kind to let us check-in earlier. Thank you for that!

Lighting cold and dark and not very cosy in bathroom and kitchen.

Can't fault it really
Great little apartment in the centre of the city, shirt walk anywhere you need. Hostess was great, had issues getting the key but was sorted quickly and without a fuss. Nice big balcony that gets the sun.

Nothing bad, but a bit soulless. It’s a business and I’m a customer.

It was difficult to find the street in the labyrinth of Chalkida. Our navigation did not show it exactly and a lot of one-way streets made it difficult. Another thing was the steps to go to the 2th floor. There are not supporting things/grips on the wall so this is heavy for older people with bagage in you hand.
Nice appartment with everything you need inside and clean. Very good bed and also nice furniture even witth enough shranks.

There was a problem with the hot water. No matter how long you left the hot water switch on, there wasn't enough hot water to even have a quick shower. It took me more than 1 hour to shower waiting for the water to warm up, and in both attempts, I rinsed with cold water in the end which was very frustrating (definitely not good during winter time when you want to have a hot shower in the evening and relax). When I contacted the host, she was very polite and offered us immediately to stay in another apartment available in the building to sort us out.
Check-in was a breeze with the use of a lockbox. The apartment was very nice and cosy exactly as seen in the photos with a wonderful big balcony to enjoy your morning coffee. Parking space was available by the host right outside of the flat. The host was quick to respond to any problems that came up during our stay.

It's annoying when you have to buy a box of laundry powder to do one or two loads of washing. It might be a nice touch if there was some supplied. I left my leftovers for the next person.
Lovely quiet location close to the seaside. Located on the 2nd floor, but there is a lift. Super large apartment with a separate living area. Close to restaurants and grocery stores. The apartment was well-appointed with all the cooking facilities and it even had a washing machine. The host, while we didn't meet her as it was a lockbox entry, was very helpful and got back to me straight away with answers for me. She even upgraded us to a bigger apartment. Thanks Gabi, we enjoyed our stay.

The only downside is that is hard to find parking around building.

I had a pretty disappointing stay at SunShore Apartments, honestly. First off, they don’t tell you until after you’ve booked that check-in isn’t until 4 PM, even though you can request an earlier time when booking. I found that really misleading. Then, there was the slow response from the management team – it felt like ages before I got any answers to my questions. They also didn’t provide basics like soap, which was a bit of a letdown, and although they listed a laundry machine as one of the amenities, there was no detergent available. Plus, the place was pretty cramped and without an elevator, which was not ideal. The lighting in the apartment was insufficient, making it feel even darker and less welcoming. To top it off, the sink in the bathroom was tiny, which made even washing hands a bit of a hassle. I’ve stayed in a lot of apartments through different booking sites, and sadly, SunShore Apartments was one of the less impressive experiences I’ve had.
