Everything was just perfect!

I have visited Meteora many times. And each time I tried to change hotels to add new impressions to the trip. And the most amazing thing is that in this fantastic place my intuition has never let me down and I was happy with the choice of hotels for the night. This time the same thing happened and I personally perceive it as a small miracle and a gift from above. My large family and I stayed at the Epavlis Meteora hotel and we were surrounded by such attention and care from the owner of the hotel - Spiros and his family. We all immediately had a feeling of home and comfort. Stylish, very comfortable, very conveniently located hotel in Kalambaka right at the foot of Meteora with spacious rooms and absolutely stunning views of the rocks and monasteries!!! Convenient parking, many delicious authentic Greek taverns nearby, Lidl supermarket. Delicious and varied breakfasts are served at the hotel at a convenient time for you in the morning. The owner of the hotel, Spiros, is a walking encyclopedia of monasteries, he will tell you everything you want to know, his English is excellent. The ride up by car is very convenient and takes no more than 7-8 minutes. If I were to describe this hotel briefly and succinctly, I would say: this is a great example of the love of the family that runs it for their business and their clients, each of whom becomes special and incredibly important to them. They are doing their best to make their clients leave Meteora and their hotel HAPPY. This is real, sincere Greek hospitality. Bravo Spiras! And bravo to your entire family. We didn't have a problem with this, and it's definitely not the hosts' fault, but the road getting up to the hotel can be a bit challenging because it isn't paved and it's fairly steep. The road is supposed to be fixed at some point, but it's unclear when. It seems intimidating, but it can be done, and it's a short drive. It's not enough of a reason to avoid it. Just be ready for a bit of a gravel road climb. It's very much worth it!!

This was our second time staying at the Epavlis. The owners are incredibly warm and welcoming. They went out of their way to be sure we had everything we needed. The breakfast is wonderful, and the view . . . breathtaking. We stayed in Room 3 (twice!), and you have two balconies: one faces the rocks behind, and the other gives you a beautiful view of the town, mountains in the distance and a few rocks. During sunset, it's just breathtaking.

The hotel was a little difficult to find.

Breakfast was excellent! Large variety and all fresh and homemade. The rooms were large, clean and comfortable. The owner, Spiro and his family were extremely helpful and friendly.

The location is very good, with beautiful view on the Meteora mountains, in quiet place. The owners - Spiros and his wife - are so nice, warm people, willing to do the best for your comfort. And the breakfast was exellent!

The unpaved road to the location - under construction. No road lights.

Everything was excellent. Acco.idati g and welcoming staff, beautiful premises and views. Room #3 had two balconies overlooking the rocks and Agios Stefano view on top. It also had a two bed loft. We enjoyed our stay. Great breakfast. Outdoor bbq opens in June for the season.. Restaurants are accessible by foot with a 10 minutes walk.

The location of the hotel is great. You have wonderful views of meteora and the valley below. The hosts are great people. They prepared a delicious breakfast and helped us with everything. Even brought our luggage to the bus station in the end. The breakfast is home made and everything tasted great. We are so happy we stayed here!

Would it be nice if there is a hair conditioner but everything else was great.

Owners were really friendly and breakfast was really good! I think if you have a family, this is a good spot to be. We had a little one and hotel provided extra bed for us. Thanks again!

We had rich, warm and delicious breakfast for two days which was hand-made by the owner (Spyros) and his wife, everything was fresh, meanwhile we were also pleased to communicate with them. The owner gave us precise and useful information about restaurants, travel spots and timetable, etc, which made our travel having high efficient. the owner gave us upgrade.

The rooms were spotlessly clean and with a gorgeous view. The owner (Spyros) is a gem! He went all the ways out to make ourself comfortable, prepared us the wood for the chimney, helped with the fire and even offered (and we kindly accepted) to drive us the next day to Kastraki. Also, most breakfast products were home made by Spyros and his wife. A real treat! Hotel to be highly recommended and we would wholeheartedly return there again!

Best travel experience in Gracee! The view from the Hotel is fantastic! A place need to come back again if possible.Nice and very helpful host and staff with transportation suggests and helps. The breakfast has many local quality food! the room was warm during raining winter!

The hotel and our room exceeded our expectations. The host, his wife, and staff were wonderful, helpful, and kind, and breakfast was delicious with many local specialties. Our room had two balconies: one that faced Meteora and the Monastery of St. Stephan, and one that faced the town and sunset. Our host kindly brought us a glass of wine for our first evening sunset. We could easily walk to town and many restaurants were nearby. The day we left to drive to Athens, our host hand wrote a map detailing where to stop for lunch by the sea and also make a stop at Delphi. That map is one of my favorite souvenirs of the trip!

All was just perfect.

Location is excelent with a great view of Metaora. The accommodation is beautifu and the room was spacious. Breakfast was superb, and Spyros, is the most kind host.
