Emporios Bay Hotel is perfectly located just 300 meters from Mavra Volia Beach, about 50 minutes from the main town, and close to charming villages like Pirgi and Mesta. The rooms are very clean and well-maintained, with daily housekeeping. We stayed in an apartment-style room; although we didn’t use the kitchen, all the utensils and equipment were spotless and complete. The parking is convenient and ample, and we were able to easily charge our electric car at the on-site station. Breakfast was both delicious and sufficient. The hotel also has a small but pleasant pool. The staff are very friendly and helpful; we especially appreciated the map of the island provided at check-in, with recommendations for beaches and restaurants. Highly recommended for a comfortable and relaxing stay.

Only downside and isn’t there to put anyone off was the shower being quite antiquated these days with a curtain surround which at the worst of times tends to stick to you!’n

The location- surrounded by mastic and olive groves, steps to the Emporios Archeological site and Mavra Voila beach, short drive to Vroulidia beach and Pyrgi. The staff are so welcoming. The breakfast is awesome. The flowers! Truly the best hotel in Chios.

This is a fabulous family run business in a quaint little fishing town. Facilities are excellent - rooms are spacious and spotless, the breakfast was great, the pool area is perfect. There are some great little tavernas in the area. The family can assist you to hire a car to explore the area. We loved it!

We knew that the city center was 30 km away but this can be a problem when you want to drink alcohol in the center or Lagada area. Combined single beds are not as comfortable as double beds but this is not a big issue.

Close to the south part of the island namely Mastichochoria. You can easily get to the famous villages Olympi, Mesta and Pyrgi. Mavra Volia is just around the corner. Staff is friendly. The cleanliness of the room and the facility was perfect. We liked the high ceilings in the room.

It was clean and very close to one of the best beach, Mavra Voula. Breakfast was ok. Staff was great. I had a problem with internet and they solved it in a short time. If I go to Chios, I would like to stay there again

I would prefer natural daylight or warm lighting instead of white light in the rooms, but this is a subjective comment. The Municipality should also find a solution to the general problem of the Mastichochoria region, the black flies

This year, we spent a total of 2 weeks in July and September at this beautiful hotel. Dear Giouli, Ilias, Ioanna, and Galateia shortly the Kampa family has created such a wonderful atmosphere that the friendly team members, including from Florida to whose names I can’t remember are the architects of this amazing experience. The breakfast is delicious, especially the cakes, and the rooms are spotless. There are also basic kitchen utensils in the rooms, which were very helpful for preparing food for our baby. The hotel either smells like cake or cleanliness. The location of the hotel is excellent; it’s just a minute to the bay and the 5 restaurants there, and about 6-7 minutes to Mavros Gialos (Mavra Volia). I had the opportunity to explore many places on the island, but nothing relaxed me as much as watching the sunset at Shapele with the sunlight reflecting on the waters in Emporios.

This is classic hotel that offers exactly what is claiming. Good size and clean rooms with staff always willing to help together with an impeccable breakfast. Definitely the best option in the area!

I expected to the whole package booked ,to be included morning, but it didn't!

Ideally located probably next to the most beautiful beach of Chios ,called Black stone!The picturesque port next to the hotel so beautiful with nice traditional taverna!It's a family run hotel ,the rooms are comfortable and clean also the staff if gentle and attentive!I would book again, for sure!.

We traveled there in August, and I found it 20-25% overpriced compared to other locations we stayed in Chios. It's a nice place, but some little things can be improved. For example, the common area is too small, so there were not enough tables to accomodate everyone for breakfast.

The hotel is located in a very nice bay on the southern part of Chios, with very nice beaches & taverns at walking distance. There is a super nice pool and the staff is very friendly. It's also conveniently located to visit the Mastic area & old cities.
