The view was spectacular. The food was absolutely delicious and reasonably priced. Charming room with precious little balcony and again the view! The pool was crystal clear and it was lovely to see the pool with the backdrop of the ocean. The people were so friendly and helped us with calling a taxi etc.

Very friendly and helpful staff, exceptional cleanliness of the accommodation (every day). We had two balconies in our accommodation, one with a great view of the bay and the sea, the other on the opposite side, where for example there was no sun for part of the day. One day we also had breakfast in the restaurant, which is part of the accommodation. It was exceptional and we HIGHLY recommend it. €10 for a very rich breakfast. Free parking within the accommodation. A few minutes walk to the nearest shop and other restaurants.

The accommodation's equipment is somewhat worn out.

Very good stay. The place is really beautiful. The restaurant is great. Too vad there was no air conditionning in all the rooms of the apartment. But apart from that it was perfect.

What a fabulous place to stay at the eastern end of Crete. I think they gave us the nicest view room and the view was truly wonderful. So was the accommodation and the facilties in the accommodation. The location was convenient for seeing sites in the area. The pool was awesome and the grounds were great for our little dog to run around. The onsite restaurant serves delicious food a very reasonable prices. Really loved Emerald and totally enjoyed our stay.

Amazing views and location, apartments had everything you would require for self catering. We were very well looked after by Esmeralda and her team, we can’t wait to return :)

Gorgeous view, welcoming owner and staff. The room was big and the bed comfortable. What a hidden gem!

Nothing but better sign for parking would be helpful.

Peaceful location with great views immaculately clean and great value

Rooms could do with an update but that's what you would expect at this value.

This is a brilliant find. Clean, super comfortable. Excellent service but nothing intrusive. Lovely pool and 10 minute trot to the beach. Low key and relaxed. We will definitely return

I wouldn't want to walk to to the beach with small children. No pavement.. Would need a car to feel safe.

Fantastic apartment just a short walk to Plaka. The room was spacious and clean. The pool was fantastic and the whole property has stunning sea views. The food in the restaurant was excellent and very reasonable. Our apartment had 2 balconies.

The shower was small so made washing hard.

A hidden gem, fabulous little taverna looking out over Almyrida, lovely staff, Really enjoyed our stay

Location is amazing. The breakfast was good.

Breakfast could of been served a bit quicker. It would of been helpful to have information on places to visit and things to do.

Beautiful views from pool and outdoor restuarant. Owners were great. Restuarant was very good.

Excellent rooms, view, pool, restaurant, staff. Looking to return next year!!

Only thing didn’t like was the steep hill just outside on the lane up to Plaka. Better to walk up sober though & stumble downhill tipsy!!

The owners were lovely. The rooms were spacious and clean. We had lovely sea views from both balconies.

Very pleasant and comfortable hotel, with friendly staff. It is on a hilltop overlooking the sea with incredible views. The hotel had breakfast, snack and evening meal menus and there were several tavernas near by.

Great views!

Everything, especially the pool and the surroundings. It is a very charming, sweet, peaceful, calm place. It is away from the touristy area and yet close enough, if one wants the crowd.

I think, they should modernize their bathrooms and airconditioner.
