You are only allowed to use the pool until 6pm. We would enjoy swimming a bit later in the evening.

I have stayed at Eleftheria many times. I love the location. The staff are always lovely. The breakfasts are delicious. The rooms are basic but are clean and very comfortable. The gardens are well maintained and there are great views.

There isn't anything we didn't like, if i had to choose something though, I would just suggest that some of the room fixtures/fittings could be either updated or repaired to a higher standard

This was our second stay at this hotel as we also chose it last year, and will be hoping to stay again in 2026. The property is great value for money in my experience, and the staff are friendly and welcoming. The pool is of a good size as are the variety of food choices.

Really small bathroom. The locks on the balcony door and on the bathroom don't work. Uncomfortable beds.

There wasn't anything we didn't like really, if we had to choose though, the size of the television in the suite, the balcony furniture and some of the fittings / fixtures in the bathroom could be updated. Overall a good stay and we would return.

The sound of high heels against the stone floor coming from upstairs woke us up a little too early.

Breakfast exceeded expectations, with a lot of choice and delicious local dishes. Pool was great! We arrived late with a car rented from Chania airport. Easy drive from the airport and welcoming staff at the arrival. Very nice stay overall!

Although the location is on the hill, there is shuttle offered by hotel which is not an issue.

Nice hotel and rooms. Very good view towards the see. Breakfast is good and should meet the most of people expectation. The pool is beautiful but just too cold in this season to try.

Gym is in very very bad condition, i would not recommend this hotel for gym enthusiastics. Machines are from late 80's or 90's. Not maintained and propably dangerous to use. Only 2 slow coffee machines are not enough for the hotel capacity during breakfast. And coffee is not so special.

Very peaceful, in the peaceful hillside area of Aghia Marina. Pool area and staff are 5/5 for somebody who appreciate peace and nice and tidy basic pool area. Room cleaning was excellent. Breakfast was greek style and very good.

The rooms were very sparse in terms of creature comforts and decorations.

The grounds were stunning and really well maintained. The breakfast was delicious and varied throughout our stay.

Difficult to find amything

The room and the hotel in general was very clean, the staff was very good, breakfast was quite rich and the swimming pool was safe and clean with satisfactory number of sunbeds and umbrellas.

The food was a little disappointing at the bar as when our food was served it wasnt very generous.

Everyone was really nice and friendly welcomes us to the hotel, location was great close to the beach and restaurants.

There is always room for improvements but generally speaking I can see the owners are investing on renovating and improving which is really good thing. To highlight in the bathroom should put hooks for towels behind the doors..the one on top of sink only good for small towel and leave big ones on the rail top of the toilet not really nice This is comment about superior rooms not sure if standard would have same design

This was 3rd time at Eleftheria..always going back because of the staff! They are all friendly and ready to help with any query. The housekeeping team as well is great and was really nice that the maid recognised us and took really good care of us.

The room was a good size, but I felt it was perhaps a little bit dated and could use a refresh. The door to the room also didn't have any additional security i.e. deadbolt or chain which we would have preferred.

We booked a single night here as our flight arrived very late to Chania airport. It was one of the few places that we could find that had a dedicated 24 hour reception staff to check in. Although other accommodations offer self check in we felt this way would be better and avoid any problems should there be any. The staff were very friendly, polite and helpful. The facility was very big and the breakfast was lovely.

The staff was friendly and helpful. Our reservation was with breakfast but we could pay and have dinner. Both breakfast and dinner had many options and we could taste the Greek cuisine!!

We have been at the hotel seven years ago when we were lucky (we understand now) to stay in the main building in a nice room. Now we stayed in the last building away from the pool and central facilities. This was not a major issue but although the rooms had a great potential (with nice balconies with sea view), they were very dated, in particular the bathrooms - crying for urgent rebuild. The table and chairs in the balcony showed to be somehow old with evident signs of degradation. The AC in our room already missed some parts (although happily it worked). Staff made an effort to be friendly but we could notice it was not easy. The hotel facilities are not enough for a medium occupation - No available beds in the pool, queues for breakfast is the weather does not allow to use the outside tables. It has become a standard medium level hotel against the comfortable warm and welcoming place we stayed 7 years ago.

The location as a base to stroll around Creete and out of the crowded streets with easy parking inside the hotel area.

Outdated rooms.

I only liked the breakfast at the property. The gentleman was nice and upgraded us to a room that was nothing to rave about. Hotel is very outdated. No comforter for the beds or toiletries. But we only stayed here to sleep for one night as it was very last minute. So I appreciate the stay nonetheless and receptionist staff was very nice and helpful. Breakfast was delicious.
