Took some time for room cleaning, but it was done nicely.

The location was great, and there was free access to the beach. The staff at reception were great. The host at the breakfast was a nice lady with a caring attitude.

The rooms were tired and basic - walls were paper thin. Beds were not comfy. The swimming pool was also the size of a postage stamp and barely any places to sit.

The room #160 was noisy, parking lot behind us, lobby noise from the front. I think other rooms in this hotel were better. We were unlucky as to location of the room. The bed was very hard but the room was clean.

The privet beach was not included in the price and they didn’t have a pool.It was tiny.

By all reports, Divani recently acquired this property, and hasn’t done much to it. Baseboards in rooms still have lots of scuffing and wear; pain is peeling between walls and ceilings. There was only decaf (instant) coffee in room upon arrival, and that wasn’t even replenished the next day until I called housekeeping. Shower stall is very small (door hits toilet when opening). Great water pressure, but temperature inconsistency. I asked for a double bed, but what I got was 2 twins, made completely separated, and then pushed together. Front desk staff tries very hard, but checkout took 30 minutes while my car to the airport waited (two people in line in front of me each had billing issues, and mine did as well - a minibar charge when I did not use the minibar). Use of beach facilities was expensive but absolutely worth it (they don’t start charging until 10/10:30 am). Proximity to beachside restaurants a plus.

Proximity to beach and walking trails. Proximity to the other Divani (Apollon) property, and ability to use its (vastly superior) pool. Breakfast was lovely outside on the peaceful patio.

No body wash in room 255 and the safe deposit box wasn’t working in rooms 253 and 255 There was no iron in both rooms. Most important the room 253 smelled smoke from cigarettes!!! The area around the hotel by the street was unkempt. !! The cleaners bought my husband suit an hour later we almost missed the wedding. And on top of it we waited for a taxi for a long time after we called for it !!

The shower design and low water pressure & no smart TV functions to connect to Netflix, Prime, Apple+, etc streaming services.

Location, staff, breakfast were all top shelf. Katerina and Jenny at breakfast made us feel like we were visiting family at breakfast time every day.

The receptionist was not polite at all, there was no assistance in anything other than the billing!!! The lack of parking is a big problem, as you have to park your car in a near by field and your sues are getting dirty….. full of dust everywhere. And the pool was a joke.

The catering staff were very polite and helpful. The room was excellent.

We arrived at the hotel and had no help with our bags. We then got in to our room and it looked very different to the photos, it was quite old and not particularly clean. We had a HUGE cockroach in our room. We had ordered off room service and got different food to what was on the menu, called and was not rectified. The food was terrible. There was one lady who worked the night shift who was absolutely lovely and I believe she was the highlight of the hotel as everything else was not up to scratch. They also changed from family to adults only after we had already paid. This is definitely not 5 star.

We booked as an adults only hotel and they were honouring bookings made when it wasn't an adults only hotel but didn't let us know. There were a few people in our position and a few of the families who also felt awkward because they knew their children were now in an adults only hotel. It was quite poorly managed. We did get moved to the larger hotel over the road but that wasn't adults only it just had a slightly better room standard and better view. The reception staff at the escape were very friendly and efficient. This wasn't their fault it was a poor management of bookings by the Divani group. There were no small bottles of water in the rooms which I found a bit strange.

It was a nice boutique style hotel.
