Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
Guidelines and Standards for Reviews

Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.

The apartment is very spacious and clean, good for a family with kids. There are amenities and appliances so it’s very convenient. The host is very friendly and helpful. You will need a car to get here though.

Absolutely wonderful apartment!!!! BETTER THAN ANY HOTEL you could find near Athens. If - like me - you keep searching for quality accommodation and are desperate reading poor reviews of hotels in this area, search no more! I was SO HAPPY arriving there: the apartment is brand new, nicely furnished, spotless clean, equipped with everything you could imagine (even toiletries for women! different types of coffee makers! Beach towels!), very quiet, in a residential area 10 minutes walking to the beach. Melinta and her lovely daughter (helping with English) were very kind and also helped me arrange taxi to the airport. I LOVED THIS STAY! Will stay again whenever in Athens area. The best alternative to hotels, excellent welcome and great quality/price ratio. Don’t hesitate - book it immediately!

The location is a bit further from a beach, and overall there are some noise from passing airplanes
New, clean, and lovely place. AC installed for hot days Windows blocks most of airplanes noise

Getting delayed at the airport 😅
Great location close to the airport and the beach. Spacious apartment with comfortable beds. We arrived late and were further held up at the airport - the owner stayed up waiting for us, despite us not being able to communicate the delay. They even offered we check out later so we could rest up more. Thank you for the generous hospitality!

If you are planning to go to athens get a taxi to the tube station then the metro into Athens as this over 20 euro cheaper.
Beautiful apartment. Very well equipped and clean. Breakfast was included which was so handy as we didn't want to do lots of shopping for the fee days we were there. Very comfortable and close to supermarket and beach.

Only wish would be for A/C in the bedrooms but that may be prohibitively expensive. With the doors open, the A/C in the main room was powerful enough to keep the temps in the bedrooms reasonable.
Very clean and modern. Snacks and drinks were provided in the unit. Owners were lovely and welcoming.

This is a very nice and modern apartment, sparkling clean and bright. It looks exactly like in the pictures. The owners are friendly and helpful. We felt very welcome, although we booked it at the very last moment. Thank you, for the great hospitality!

there is nothing to complain about
we came really late, and the owner was totally ok with that, Even helped us to find a way in, also booked taxi for us. It was a really lovely, cozy and modern room. we were a group of 4 and it was really a huge space big enough for us. there is a lovely garden which is ideal for a breakfest. talkin about breakfest, there was a lot of meal, tea, coffee and Even a bottle of wine.

We have travelled very extensively in the past but this accommodation was beyond our expectations A hidden Gem close to the airport Brand new very detailed and all amenities No Stairs to climb extremely clean and very well designed for a very comfortable stay even a welcome bottle of wine Price /value excellent You have to rely on a taxi to get there but that is very easy as well Once again for your outstanding comfort and overall exceeding comfort We wish you all the best for the future you are on your right way Gracias por todo Thomas

That we booked it only for a day! We are definitely coming back for longer!
Everything in the house is of best quality. The house is not just clean but „MONICA CLEAN!“ (for FRIENDS funs which means meticulously spotless). Melinda (excellent hostess) has taken care of every little detail which made us feel the warmth and comfort of home. She equipped the house for le grand breakfast and we really did not want to leave! The location is good the house smelled of flowers from the garden which is cute and cozy and a sandy beach is 500 meters away.

The location. it’s close enough to the airport, but there wasn’t much around in terms of food. we ordered takeout (the host helped us with all that. super nice!)
the property is exceptionally clean and well-stocked. The host is very helpful and was available when we arrived at night and left early in the morning (3am checkout).
