How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

The towel and sun bed issue - the hotel has tried to address this with signs (that are ignored) and they have loads of loungers (covered in towels)

Verified reviewSo clean and in a great location.The restaurant food was amazing and reasonably priced. Loads of sun-beds and the pool is lovely. The staff are really helpful and lovely.
The balcony and bathrooms are really small but that’s just a small niggle that nothing can be done about.

Verified reviewAmple car parking, very effective air conditioning, a super powerful shower with a head attached to the wall & a hand held one too. We appreciated the small touches such as a makeup face cloth and mini toiletries. Booking through Booking.com meant our room included the fridge, safe, and AC. The staff were friendly throughout our stay, and the property overall was clean, albeit very basic.
We were on the ground floor, so our balcony didn’t have a railing to dry our towels or a place to hang anything outside. The room lacked basic conveniences like wall hooks for towels or coats or any art to make it less dreary. The fridge only worked when the key card was in the wall holder, and even then, it barely cooled our drinks apparently its an eco friendly one? Wi-Fi was extremely poor—barely usable—despite a nearby bar (less than 500m away) having an excellent connection. Towels and bed linen are only changed every 3 days, which feels too infrequent, especially given the high temperatures and the powerful shower that soaks the whole bathroom floor. The blankets provided were stained. Breakfast was underwhelming with oily scrambled eggs they tasted greasy. Prices at the hotel bar weren’t cheaper than local options, so we didn’t feel encouraged to stay there during the day or evening.

We appreciate your kind words regarding our car parking, powerful air conditioning and shower, the useful shower handle, and the thoughtful touches like the makeup face cloth, toiletries, and the efforts of our team — especially the cleanliness, which we pride ourselves on. As a 3-star hotel, so we go beyond the basic fuction of a 3 star hotel. That said, we were surprised by your rating of 4/10, and we feel the need to address some inaccuracies in your review: Room Amenities: Nowhere in our room descriptions do we mention a railing or facility to hang towels or clothes on the balcony and was expected by mistake. Fridge Usage: All fridges operate regardless of the key card being inserted, so there may have been a misunderstanding here. Wi-Fi: As we are located between the mountains and the sea, our internet infrastructure relies on copper wiring. While we invest in the best available package, this limitation is unfortunately beyond our control. The bar you mentioned is half a kilometer close to the main strip that has fiver, and also it's a sportsbar with thousands invested in satelite dishes. Comparing us to another hotel, would be much more reasonable. Towel and Linen Policy: Towels and linen are changed every two days to balance guest comfort with environmental sustainability. A lot of our guests sometimes request everyday for fresh towels which we provide if asked, but wont do it ourselves due to high costs and environmental causes. Cleanliness Issues: If any item, such as a blanket, appeared stained, you should have informed during your stay. Our team is always ready to resolve any concerns immediately — We cannot be 10 out of 10 if we are not informed, sometimes during peak summer these things slip its only human. Breakfast: Our scrambled eggs are made fresh daily from real eggs, not from powdered mixes — a point of pride for us, compared to most other breakfast buffets. Pricing: : Comparing our prices to a bar is not an equal comparison. A hotel with 80 rooms, full-time staff, high taxes, and daily operations cannot charge bar prices. Still, most of our guests comment that our prices are very fair. Lastly, we strongly suggest that in future travels you raise any concerns during your stay. Negative, misleading reviews help no one — not us, and not future guests. Open communication gives us the chance to assist or correct things on the spot. Safe travels and goodbye Warm regards, Denny

Verified reviewFriendly and clean hotel in a good location, close to the beach and shops but in a quiet road. The hotel was a family type hotel so there were no young partying teens when we were there. It seems most of the guests (not all) were Brits on Jet-2 holiday packages.
There is a veranda around the dining/lounge area in which smoking is allowed, unfortunately the windows/blinds were open so that you could smell if someone was smoking while you were eating which wasn't very peasant, it would be a simple fix to ban smoking from that area, there are many other places people could smoke.

Verified reviewThe property is conveniently placed within walking distance of all that Kalamaki has to offer. The hotel is far enough away from the main strip that you don’t hear all the hustle and bustle, but you are still able to reach everything by a leisurely stroll. You are in prime position for Kalamaki beach where if you’re lucky you’ll be able to see the hatchlings of the famous Caretta Caretta turtles and you are also in prime position for watching aeroplanes as they land and take off from the airport! l Would highly recommend this hotel, it’s spotless and has the most comfiest pool beds!! We hope to be back as this was our first time staying with the Denny’s Inn hotel, but not our first trip to the beautiful island! Thank you for making it another memorable trip.
Although there was absolutely nothing wrong with the quality of the breakfast; it was lovely. It was just the same everyday with only slight changes. It just felt slightly repetitive! But, the coffee was lovely and the staff were very friendly, as well as the food served in the hotels summer breeze restaurant was some of the best throughout our stay (especially the fruit and Greek yoghurt).
