Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomAir con unit was quite old (not cold enough) and could be updated.
The view was amazing we loved waking up to it every morning and watching the sunset at night. We also enjoyed the pool in 7seas restaurant but you have to pay 10euros per person for a sun bed.

AustraliaEverything was perfect.
Fantastic family run hotel with exceptional service and attention to detail. Pepi and her family are incredible hosts, nothing was too much trouble. The hotel takes in sweeping views of Kamares port, is a 15 minute walk into the village with a fantastic variety of restaurants and shops. The local bus service is great, costing €2 to get to all the other major villages and some stunning ocean beaches and cliff top views. Highly recommend Felfini and Sifnos as a destination.

United StatesWifi was a bit odd. Sometimes very fast and sometimes it didn't work at all, though the cellular signal in the area is just fine.
Incredible hotel. Absolutely stunning. The views from our window and balcony were spectacular, unobstructed paintings of the sea and surrounding mountains. When we didn't feel like going out for dinner, the hotel restaurant was a perfect option - really nice food. This is a family run hotel but it doesn't mean it's at all unprofessional. Everyone was polite courteous, spoke great English and was very willing to explain island recommendations and excursions. All that said, my favorite part was the walkway down to the sea. What a way to start your day with a jump into the cool salt water.

United StatesThe only kink was the shower, which we couldn't get to work no matter how hard we tried. But thanks for trying, Kyria.
Almost everything--the room with a view, the view, the gorgeous dining terrace, and most of all the lovely family who own and run the Delfini. They were very welcoming and always sweet and eager to make their guests happy. They were also very patient with my sorry attempts to speak Greek, which I always appreciate.

The hotel is in a beautiful spot with gorgeous views over the sea. The staff were extremely helpful and welcoming. The breakfast was very good with lots of variety. There is also a bar and restaurant, a small pool, steps down to the harbour for swimming, and parking close by if you have a car. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

United StatesAbsolutely nothing.
Clean and comfortable room with its own small pool. The staff was fantastic. They couldn’t do enough for us, including a friendly welcoming and a 15 minute verbal tour of the island. The included breakfast was a lovely way to start the day, too. Easy parking steps away was appreciated.

AustraliaA real gem of a hotel on a gem of an island. Breathtaking views, very comfortable, amazing cooking by Pepi and her family were all wonderful. Great private plunge pool and we loved the space of the family suite despite it being just 2 of us. Breakfast was amazing and the restaurant was divine.

AustraliaThe accommodation was beautiful, but if you are visiting Sifnos, I wouldn't venture inland to Apollonia. Too dry and dusty without the coastal scenery. The restaurants in the city had fabulous locations but the food was only average.
This fabulously located gem is a beautifully idyllic highlight of the Aegean. It is a peaceful hideaway with sensational views over the crystal blue waters of the bay. This made breakfast and dinner particularly delightful. The room was very comfortable and it also had a nice balcony which afforded us the view of the serene view of the boats sailing by. This is all complemented by the the welcoming and accommodating staff , who couldn't do enough for us. Also dining in was exceptional , as well as being quite reasonable. Definitely a must stay for a relaxing holiday.

Who could not be captivated by the marvellous views from every corner of this hotel? My husband and I spent a wonderful 2 nights in this spot and have only got positive remarks to make. We were picked up from the ferry and delivered to our room which had the most remarkable view of the Aegean. Very friendly atmosphere. Excellent breakfast taken on the terrace overlooking the bay. A wonderful relaxing stay and we realise now we should have stayed in Sifnos longer and especially at Delfini, which we would highly recommend. We will definitely return.

AustraliaThe shower was a bit strange and would wet the whole bathroom floor. Also the shower head was only hand held and not mounded to the wall. Only a small issue.
