Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

RomaniaLittle bit tricky to reach by car, waze maps were inaccurate (not hotel's fault, but they should add more orientation information to Booking description). Very nice pool, but they are a bit uptight about children playing with a ball in it. Breakfast could be more varied for vegans.
Great location, great view, very nice rooms and bathroom. Good food. Very friendly staff.

CroatiaOnly location. It is in a small village that has just a simple, not very nice walk along the beach and a few restaurants but nothing interesting. If you would like to get dress up in the evening and go for a night out this is not the place…:)
Everything! All the staff was amazing! Rooms are very spacious and cleaning ladies are doing great job! Everything was very clean! Restaurant and pool surrounding are very nice and pleasant to spend time at. Breakfast has a lot of variety and it was delicious.Hotel restaurant also has amazing meals, we ate there 7 days out of 10 🙂

TurkeyBreakfast could have been much better than offered one. There was a fixed plate, a coffee (even tea was not an option) and that's all. Quality was acceptable but variety was so low.... The hotel could get 5* from me if they had served a better breakfast.
A very well furnished boutique hotel with a superior interior design. It has magnificent sea view and direct access to beachfront. Rooms were clean and very comfortable with proper soundproof. The room I stayed (probably 101) was the first (or last) room in the corridor so it was open to a great panoramic view. The Del Mare Suites exceeded my expectations and probably due to low season (I stayed on June 1st) the price/quality value-add was incredible in terms of architecture, view, and design.

GreeceDel Mare Suites is an amazing hidden gem in Glyfa, close to the ferry connecting the Greek mainland with the northern coast of the island of Evia. The accommodation is sparkling clean with amazing views across the bay to Evia. We really enjoyed our stay, and we especially appreciated the friendliness of all the staff. Thank you so much! We'll be back!

RomaniaWe loved everything! We chose this place for our honeymoon and it was everything we needed. A perfect hotel, with excellent taste in decor, excellent staff, facilities and breakfast. We loved the pool and the more secluded area towards the sea, where we relaxed before entering the sea which is just at the end of some steps. We went there in the first week of September, and although the hotel was still busy, the village had a lovely quiet vibe where you can walk around, enjoy the beach and the wonderful restaurants around. Apparently it's very busy in the summer, but it was perfect as it was for us, as we looked for a more relaxed holiday.

PortugalWe liked everything.
We had an excellent stay. The pool was amazing. Our room had a large balcony with sea view and two comfortable "bean bag" sun beds. The proximity of the beach was something of great value. The hotel is located in a small village with a delightful mixed sand and rock beach in with is possible to enter without shoes. The water is clear and its temperature is pleasant like Caribbean beaches. At the village, that extends for a mile beside the hotel there are lot of restaurants with local food as like the hotel restaurant that also serves great local meals at lunch and dinner. We loved the breakfast. There are small supermarkets at the village. The week we stayed most of the people were from Greece. The whole bay has a calm ambient. About the hotel staff I can say they were very attentive and polite. We did not have anything to complaint during our whole stay.

Great hotel, very helpful staff and amazing food. VFM for sure, a great little gem in the otherwise locally preferred area. The massages service was amazing, a definite must if you visit. Food was exceptional, offers a wide variety of options to cater to everyone. Noise was not an issue although our room was on the pool level. Very smart use of curtains to provide more privacy for the pool level rooms. Great air conditioning and fans throughout the amenities. Overall design and decor was really carefully selected.
