NetherlandsThere was not enough privacy at room balcony.There could be more seats at mainbar because so many people came for the show but they gone back inside.I was waiting more local entertainments kinda Greek night etc. (Personally i love Greek traditional music), but if hotel provide more entertainments with enough seat then it can greatly improve the experience.
Personnel was so kind and helpful,food was perfect,drinks from main bar,pool bar was perfect,violin and saxophone night was perfect.Room is large enough and clean (every day) for two people.If you are looking to relax in beach then it will be good choice for you.

Very nice and spacious room with shared pool. Friendly and helpful staff. Clean. Great food. Very close to the beach. Padel and tennis courts and gym. Great location if you are planning daytrips.

From the moment we arrived, the friendliness and willingness to help from all the staff made our stay unforgettable. Everyone, including the cleaning staff, was incredibly kind and always greeted us with a smile. We chose the all-inclusive option, and I must say the food was simply incredible. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner offered an abundance of dishes prepared to perfection. There was such a vast selection that it would be impossible to list everything! The special dinner at the Azure restaurant was particularly memorable – huge compliments to the Chef and his team for their dedication and culinary excellence. The fitness centre exceeded our expectations with its professional variety of equipment. There’s even an outdoor gym with equal amenities, plus two tennis courts, a paddle court, and a race track – perfect for sports enthusiasts. The daily activities led by the entertainment team were also fantastic, offering everything from yoga, aqua aerobics, and 5K morning runs to SUP! Our room was spacious, beautifully decorated, and just a few meters from the pool, making it easy to relax. The evening entertainment was enjoyable and thoughtfully balanced, never too loud, allowing for those seeking a more peaceful evening to unwind. In terms of value for money, I found it to be absolutely worth it. For a total relaxation holiday, I couldn’t recommend this place enough. 5 stars for sure, and hopefully, we will be back next year!

AlbaniaIt was a great resort to relax. The service was great, very attentive and cordial without becoming overwhelming. The whole structure was spotless , the room was cleaned twice a day , sheets and towels daily or every time you needed them. We were very impressed with the food , different types of plates every day, never boring or tasteless. We enjoyed particularly the variety of sweets with every meal. The pool was big and warm , the sea was amazing , the activities were rare but we enjoyed the quietness. The cocktails were ok, the restaurant by the sea was very good. I also liked the spa. Everyone was friendly and cheerful. The resort has also a quite nice architecture. Overall it was a fantastic stay and a good quality price ratio.

MaltaEntertainment was poor. Example, Saturday evening, with violin which could have been more entertaining plus music stopped at 9:45pm not even 2 hours. Friday Pool DJ/bar stopped @10:30pm. Thursday no entertainment at all. Tuesday evening went really well with live music and was the only one we enjoyed.
Excellent room with pool view /access from veranda. Food/restaurant and staff were very good. Bar staff and drinks for all inclusive was very good.

Czech RepublicCoffee at breakfast was not good. In such a luxury hotel I would expect at least one vending machine for good coffee - you can choose espresso, cappuccino, cale late...and so on. Hotels in East Crete provide free airport transfers for their guests. Unfortunately, not here. We took a bus from the airport to Chania and then a second bus to the hotel (stop Rapaniana 1 Town Centre). The journey cost a total of 10 euros for 2 people. On the way back to the airport we had to choose a taxi (we were leaving very early in the morning) and the journey cost 75 EUR.
Wonderful resort with nice beach (blue flag). Quiet place, comfortable and luxurious. We had a beautiful view from the balcony. The breakfast was great. We enjoyed pool bar with fantastic and friendly staff :-). It has been a wonderful holiday for us. There were plenty of sunbeds on the beach and the water in the sea was crystal clear. We are hoping to come back here again.

GermanyThe beach is made by pebbles so I would recommend to wear sea socks or shoes to enter in the sea.
I had a fantastic holiday at the hotel despite the anticyclone that is unusual. The staff was excellent and the General Manager Mr. Kantaras Argirios was very helpful, he tried to meet any requests. In the formula "all inclusive" everything: drinks and water were included. The food was delicious and varied from the Greek specialities to international recipes. I was really satisfied.

SlovakiaWonderful resort with direct access to clean blue flag beach. Spatious with lots of green areas. Even though fully occupied, we still had a feeling of intimacy. Quiet, comfortable and luxurious. Our two little mermaids had plenty of chances to use either our suite pool or the main one. We enjoyed pool bar at every occasion, providing endless list of surprisingly tastefull drinks. Top notch authentic food with fresh local products was the best I`ve experienced in years. And as for the staff, the friendliest people you always wanted to meet at your stay. With their "No problem" attitude, our holiday was a dream come true. Thanks to all of you and see you 2024.

GermanyThe breakfast was very adequate (a large selection of hot and cold options as well as freshly squeezed orange juice, good cappuccino and omelet made to your liking) and the breakfast staff was super friendly. We still felt some parts of it (the greek yoghurt, the jams and the bacon) did not quite match the super high quality of the rest of our stay. These are tiny details though, and more than anything they're an indication of how fantastic the rest of our time at the hotel was!
Gorgeous location and FANTASTIC staff! Everyone on the team made us feel SO welcome! We had a beautiful view from the balcony of our large and comfortable room. Very large, centrally situated pool (depth 1.1 m), lots of sun beds and parasols on the adjacent lawn as well as on the private (pebble) beach. Ocean was crystal clear and had a lovely temperature (~25C) in early October. Very calm and secluded location, like having a long stretch of coastline all to yourself! We never tried the dinner buffet but ate at the hotel a-la-carte restaurant on our first evening. Had no expectations on an Italian (!) hotel restaurant in Greece (normally we always go looking for the best restaurants in the local surroundings), but to our great surprise, we had a fantastic meal, and the waitress and chefs were so friendly! Still a great memory for us! Oh, and there are tennis courts, a paddle tennis court and a well-equipped outdoor gym to boot! A great base for visiting the beaches of Elafonisi and Balos (not to miss!) with car. The hotel even organised a 4WD rental vehicle for us for one day on short notice, as the last strip of road to Balos is a tough gravel path. We really had a fantastic stay, and we're very much hoping to be able to return one day!

Poland-Transport from airport, you have to pay for your own taxi at €65, would have thought that a self declared 5 star resort would provide transport for residents at no cost -Food was reasonable but there was an annoying habit of beginning to remove it quite early -Facilities for children, there is a 'club' but it is geared for infants and there were no organised activities or facilities for our 7 year old. When we were booking, we specifically asked about facilities and events for a 7 year old and we were told there were things happening every day. This was clearly not the case. This is a particular sore point. -Poor night time entertainment. There were performances three nights a week but they finished at 10pm and weren't super entertaining. Nothing the other evenings. We stayed in another, supposedly lower grade, resort in Crete in 2017 where there was something happening every evening until at least 11pm. The resort was isolated which gave us no other options. We were clearly not the only people who weren't satisfied with this. -There could also be some more activities and events for adults. To be fair, there was a Swedish lady who ran yoga and pool aerobics every day and there were some 'fish' nights but they could easily expand the activities. In summary, we had a very pleasant and relaxing 2 weeks but we felt that Cavo Spada could be more proactive in laying on some activities for both children and adults at little cost (or which they could easily recover through small fees). It feels that they have a good resort but could put in a little additional effort to make it really great. It cannot really claim 5 star status otherwise.
