Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomBreakfast wasn’t great. There was orange squash instead of fresh orange juice which wasn’t pleasant and pre cooked eggs were rubbery and flavourless. Our room was lovely but was on the end by a shabby car park and felt quite exposed so we didn’t really utilise the plunge pool. Rooms further along had much more privacy and would have been more enjoyable to sit outside, we didn’t feel we could in ours so went to the communal pool instead. The place had a bit of an unfinished feel with wires hanging down in places and the room needed some artwork but with a few tweaks it could be amazing.
Excellent location, beautiful beach and lovely harbour side restaurants just a hop across the road from the hotel. More beautiful beaches within a 10 minute walk. Really stunning village with lots of atmosphere and choice of great restaurants and bars. Hotel room was very clean and comfortable, lovely welcome with a glass of homemade lemonade. Beautiful communal pool with comfy sunbeds and cushion chairs. Room was very comfortable, especially the beds. Staff were attentive and friendly.

FranceThe hotel staff appeared untrained and overwhelmed by what should have been a regular day of operations. There was no clear dress code. I get that uniforms can feel outdated but some form of identifiable dress code is essential I think . As it stands, it was difficult to distinguish staff from guests. At the reception, the team gave off in the very early minutes an impression of negligence: no one stood to welcome us, there were no smiles, and no proactive recommendations or guidance about the hotel or its surroundings. For a 5-star property, this level of service falls short of expectations. Additionally, our room was not ready upon arrival(which can happen, I can live with it no big deal)but the staff seemed unsure of any alternatives or solutions they could offer. This lack of preparedness and initiative does not align with the standards one would expect at this level.
The hotel equipment are quite new. The private swimming pool for the room is a plus.

After reading the negative reviews it does strike you when you arrive at reception that there are cables hanging where light fittings should be and unfinished work around the hotel. The ladies toilets appeared to be a construction site on the right hand side. The pool area was nice but no shower, no signs of whether or not there was any pool service, drinks, snacks available. No info in rooms about anything either. Our quadruple room was tasteful. They had put 2 beds in the living area so there were lots of extra chairs! The bathroom was very good, top quality Korres toiletries etc but the knob on the door handle fell off every time we closed the door….The terrace looked unloved/unfinished. Very bare. Needed some furniture/planting as on the ground floor… None of this adversely affected our stay but the hotel is NOT 5 star and in their second season now a lot of work still remains. They had made an effort with the breakfast and it was decent. Our only complaint was checkout was at 11, our ferry was at 2.30, and they could not offer us anywhere to shower/change so we left and just sat in Parikia for 3 hours. Usually the gym/spa can offer this but there isn’t one. The staff were nice but reception is run by young boys… on a positive note Piso Livadi is lovely and hotel location was great but wouldn’t stay again.

SerbiaThere is potential but not near a 5 star hotel. Breakfast needs some variety and pool water should have much cleaner look.

DenmarkStill some remaining construction work to be complete, but only small nuisance. Wifi was lacking. Stopped working every 10-15 mins. Probably not enough capacity. Pool was somewhat dirty. Hard to maintain when there wasn’t a shower there for pre/post swimming
Beautiful layout and design. Relaxed atmosphere. Kids loved the pool. Best location in idyllic Piso Livadi. Next to small beach, restaurants and small shop with snacks. Hospitality was great. Very helpful and always with a smile 😊 Room cleaned everyday. Familyroom had ample space. Breakfast was good but pretty limited selection.

United KingdomThe Internet was not great and the TV could do with maybe having a Google chrome in the rooms so that guests can connect their Netflix etc. we had kids who in the evening just wanted to chill and watch TV and we only had YouTube.
Loved the private pool rooms, the large shared pool was also amazing for kids with the shallow and deep bits, the beds round the pool were very luxury and comfy however could do with a bar nearby for coffee’s, snacks and drinks.

DenmarkWe booked a room with a “private pool,” but the hedge around it was barely 1 meter tall — meaning absolutely no privacy. There was no body lotion among the toiletries provided…which again felt cheap for what’s supposed to be a 5-star hotel. The hotel itself felt at bit half-finished, with missing facilities. But we still enjoyed the stay, but it’s definitely not a 5 star hotel
Best location on Paros! Its location is in a small marina with cute restaurants. Every morning we ate breakfast outside with the best view! The staff made us fresh orange juice and coffee. Staff were weary welcoming and helpful. Clean big hotel rooms

United StatesYou can’t hide the fact it’s not complete but I feel the price we paid reflected what we got. I’m not sure the hotel knows what it’s marketing for, is it a party/influencer type hotel or a family hotel. Currently both are there so it’s a bit of a clash when you have drinking adults wanting peace and then kids playing ball games.
When we stayed the hotel wasn’t yet fully finished. You could see some rooms being worked on and the restaurant and rooftop bar weren’t complete. However, they weren’t advertised as complete and they didn’t detract from our stay. It’s Greece, things take a while to get finished! The staff were great, they really worked to make sure that everyone had what they needed. The kids loved the pool which was cleaned every day. We had a family room with plenty of space. There was a beach just across from the hotel and another larger one 10 minutes walk south. There were plenty of restaurants within 10 minutes walk. If you want some good instagram photos this is the hotel for you!
