It was all good but we enjoyed the eccentricity / old school charm of the place. Some won't.

This is an old school traditional, somewhat tatty hotel that may have seen better days but it has character and the views form the rooms facing the sea are fantastic. Staff were friendly and the location is good if you want to be near the water and by the buzzy restaurants down by the marina. It won't be to many people's tastes tho so don't come here if you're expecting the Ritz for Travelodge prices. Beach very nearby for a morning swim if you want one.

I feel that the interior of the building deserves a little freshening/cheering up. We like the retro look very much but rooms, etc., look a little tired. Despite this, we will return.

All staff were friendly and accommodating. Cannot fault the service. It didn't take long before you felt part of a family. The views from our balcony were great. Bees were great and plentiful.

Location and view from the terrace are fantastic. The sunrise was impressive. But please do not expect modern room for this money.

Overall, the hotel is way beyond dated. It probably hasn't changed much since the 1970s? My room was a single bed very low to the floor and not that comfortable It was rather dark in the room (no view), although everything worked, it is all very old. Had a polythene shower curtain around the shower, which had a one foot base to climb over, and it felt fairly cramped when using it Ancient door lock where you press a button on the handle to lock it

It was slightly dated but in a sophisticated, classy and upmarket way. Very clean, comfortable, staff were attentive, breakfast was very good. Great WiFi and bathroom.

The rooms could use a bit of renovation, especially the walls, but despite the age of the furniture and bathroom, the hard work of the ladies who strive to maintain cleanliness is commendable. It would also be nice to have a bit more variety for breakfast.

The place is charming with a vintage look, which I personally like. I particularly liked the terrace "Veranda", which has a fantastic ambiance with many interesting details. Personally, I would prefer if it opened a bit earlier, as it would be lovely to cool off during the day when it's too hot to walk around. The staff is very friendly, hardworking, and accommodating, which is very important for a hotel, and for me, "a hotel is people". All in all, if our travels bring us back to the area, we would gladly be guests again.
