Perfect location! We were greeted warmly by Dimitri and both he and all the staff continued to give excellent service with a warm and friendly manner throughout our stay. The accommodation was exceptional, very clean and spacious with great facilities. Having the beach just a short walk away was a bonus and beach towels were available on request. The breakfast was a lovely start to the day. Lots of choice and starting the day with the beautiful views was wonderful. We will definitely stay here again.

Really Nothing to complain about!

We had a wonderful stay in a beautiful location, just a short walk from the beach and supermarket. The breakfast was absolutely delicious, and the facilities were incredibly convenient. Dimitri and his family were warm, welcoming, and always ready to help. We’d love to return in the future!

It is a personal preference and didn’t impact our stay but we would have liked more variety at breakfast, better WiFi in the room and swimming towels available at pool (however they did kindly provide each time we asked!)

Peaceful, laid back hotel on a beautiful property with lovely sea views. Highlight for us was the amazing location! Hotel is situated a short walk down the hill to Achladies beach where you can get a water taxi to Skiathos town and back for €4 pp per trip and close proximity to bus stops 9 and 10 which made getting around the island without a car very easy. We swam daily at Achladies beach which has beautiful blue water, sun loungers and tavernas for lunch, dinner and drinks. We also made use of the rental hire boat company on the beach to take us to other beaches that can only be accessed via boat. Many thanks to Dimitri and Yannis for being such a welcoming hosts! We’d definitely return and recommend the hotel to friends.

Had a great stay with helpful and relaxed staff that gave us good service for 9 days! No worries 😊 The location is perfect! Just a little walk down some stairs to a beautiful beach. You can choose to stay by the pool and take short trips down to the Achlaides beach or explore other beaches on the island. Once or twice every hour a taxi boat goes from the Achlaides beach into the town centre. Thanks to Jannis and Dimitris and their staff for a lovely time 😊

We were a group of 4 adults and 2 children (ages 3 and 6). The rooms were spacious and very clean. Breakfast was varied and delicious — something for every taste. You can also have lunch or dinner on-site, and the food is really tasty, especially the pizza. To our surprise, the prices were actually very reasonable. The location is lush and green, perfect for kids to run around. The pools are a big plus, especially in the afternoon when you don’t feel like going back to the beach. The beach is close by, and the walk to it is manageable unless you’re on crutches or pushing a stroller — in that case, it’s a bit more challenging. The beach itself is clean, and it costs €15 per day for 2 sunbeds and 1 umbrella. From the beach, you can take a water taxi straight to the harbor in the town center, which is beautiful and full of great tavernas. Dimitris is the person behind the high standards of this place — he’s always around and ready to help with anything you need. The ladies from the kitchen and cleaning staff are doing an excellent job! Alexandra is a hardworking young woman, always ready to help. I highly recommend this location if you’re looking for stunning landscapes, crystal-clear water (you will need water shoes), beautiful nature, and high-standard accommodation. PS: They also helped us with transport from and to the airport — a big plus once again!

We found that it was really helpful to have a car. The apartments are down a very steep hill. Even though the bus is regular and taxis are available, if you want to get to the beach it’s down a steep slope. If you have mobility issues then it would be a problem. Getting to the main road is up a very steep hill/road. Having said all that we had a brilliant week, but we hired a car. Parking on site is not a problem and free.

The property was lovely, spotlessly clean and modern. Breakfast was buffet style with views over the beach and the bay. The staff were so very friendly and helped with anything we needed. We were able to borrow a beach umbrella and beach towels which was brilliant. Everyone was so friendly and helpful, food delicious and the pools lovely. The manager had put towel clips on each of the sunbeds which was a really lovely touch. It’s family friendly and managed by a family who clearly understand the needs of visitors. Couldn’t recommend highly enough.

We (couple + toddler) stayed in one of the new ground floor suites - it was lovely and quiet and had stunning sea views. It felt like we had our own villa. The location was ideal with such a short walk down to the beach and various great restaurants nearby. The staff were incredibly friendly and went out their way to make sure we had a great holiday. There was nothing to dislike.

From the moment we arrived we were welcomed by the owners. We were treated like family and nothing was too much trouble. The apartment was spacious, clean and welcoming with complimentary fruit and bottled water, which was very much appreciated. Breakfast was varied each day and was to a very high standard. We ordered food from the bar and we all agreed that it was the best Gyros we had tasted and we had tried a few in Skiathos town. The Bar and Pool area were clean and had a lovely atmosphere with music playing in the background. Just a two minute walk to the beach made this an ideal location to stay. It was great having the choice of a water taxi from the beach or the bus a short 5 - 10 minute walk away. Dimitri was so helpful providing us with beach towels and a sun umbrella to take to the beach and had a great sense of humour. We would highly recommend this hotel and would most certainly love to return. Thank you to Dimitri and your family for making us feel so welcome we had the most amazing time.

First thing to note is very friendly and attentive people managing Cape Blue. Yannis, the owner of the hotel is always there and is a very personable and welcoming host. Zafiris who managed the bar is a charismatic and friendly guy mixed us good drinks and entertained us with local stories and anecdotes. The location is exceptional for the views and tranquility but may not be optimal for people with mobility issues. The hotel is very close to the beach but it is all downhill ( not too steep). The views are stunning. Exceptionally good breakfast with plenty of variety to choose from; freshly fried eggs, bacon, cheese, fruit, pastry variety and VERY good coffee. A lunch/ early dinner menu is also available. Achladies beach offers regular hourly water taxi service to Skiathos town till midnight (?). We used it quite a bit. The beach itself is also well serviced and has 3 restaurants right there. Overall the hotel is very well managed. Rooms are meticulously cleaned and beds are made every day. AC worked very well. Our family of 4 stayed in Superior sea view suite. It looked recently updated and offered everything we needed. We hope to be back one day.

Loved our stay at Cape Blue for 10 days. Great, quiet location next to a nice beach, boat hire and water taxi’s into the town. Few good restaurants around on the beach and up the hill. Accommodation and site is really good quality and value for money I thought. Very clean and maintained grounds (suites cleaned everyday), good quality rooms, comfy beds etc. Breakfast everyday is a nice touch, good choice and nice hot strong coffee. Lovely bunch of people onsite too led by Dimi.

Fantastic location, views and close to beach. Plenty to see and do nearby and within easy reach. Skiathos town easily accessible by bus or water taxi and nice bars and Tavernas close by. Dimitri and team excellent hosts. would definitely come back!!

nothing we liked everything

We liked everything, the area is quiet, no parties, just a couple of very god restaurants nearbay and no ned for car - you can hop on water taxi if you need to go to the city. Our room had a big terrace with a view at the sea surrounded by a nice kept garden, perfect beach is just 1 minute walk down the hill , breakfast is sufficient and coffee is nice. Our room was kept very clean everyday, the bed was big and comfy. Our host Dimitri was very nice, helpful and funny person. I hope I will be back sometimes.
