Owners and staff were very friendly and helpful. They are eager to make your stay enjoyable, comfortable and relaxing. The town is small and lovely and has a very family-oriented vibe. We also had dinner and breakfast there and had great meals and experiences. While we only stayed one night, because that is all we had planned in our itinerary, it was one of the highlights of the trip.

The hotel is modern, everything looks, feels and works great! The staff was super friendly and hospitable! The food was absolutely delicious! It's now my favorite spot in Agia Roumeli, can't wait to come back.

This is an exceptionally clean and well-run, family-owned hotel. New, clean bathrooms. The level of personal attention is equal to that of a five star hotel. The hotel is just next to the beach, half of the rooms are directly facing the sea, the other half have a partial sea view. Agia Roumeli as such is a bit of a hidden gem, with a clean, turquoise sea inviting to swim, and more facilities than one normally could expect. This is due to the hikers that arrive every day via the Samaria gorge, but that mostly leave again on the 16:30 ferry.

Rooms were really nice, clean, a/c worked great, bathroom was modern and new. Beautiful view. Nice staff. They were able to hold our luggage when we went to hike Samaria Gorge. Very quiet, peaceful town. Beach chairs for rent just steps away.

Friendly family staff. Excellent host and cook. Bigger rooms are available in their new building that is further back from the water. Even water taste awesome!

Charming helpful hosts. They brought our bags to and from the boat. Great spot. Superb food, especially the traditional dishes. Would certainly recommend it.

Great welcome after finishing the gorge walk. Shown straight to our room. We then had a Greek salad and homemade bread with the best cold beer to help rehydrate us. We had our evening meal at Calypso aswell, I had goat and husband had the lamb. Both were delicious. All the team were very friendly. We will definitely return if not to do the walk to do some village hopping via the ferry. The shower was fantastic.

We loved staying here! The family was so kind and friendly. Recently renovated rooms. Comfortable bed and blackout windows. Clean. We had three meals here - all were delicious. It was a great home base for hiking around the area. Gorgeous view!

We stayed near the stairs and it was somewhat noisy as guests were leaving to take the early ferry.

I would recommend every hiker to visit Agia Roumeli in this time of the year. Everything green, not too warm and yes the gorge is still closed but plenty of other possibilities. Besides that lovely hotel and friendly owners! I will definitely would like to come back here
