Everything was wonderful

A traditional style & absolutely charming hotel with a beautifully appointed suite, in a lovely traditional old building. So much care has been taken to keep to its traditional aesthetics. Wonderful views across the sea. Such a pleasant place to stay. Wonderful & helpful staff, assisting us with luggage as the beautiful cobbled streets are cumbersome to be dragging luggage along. We were on the 2nd level accessed via a narrow circular staircase but our porter easily carried up all our suitcases. Breakfast provided was a lovely mix of traditional Greek offerings.

Absolutely somewhere you should stay in your lifetime. The place is amazing. The views, the food, the room, the breakfast all amazing. One thing to be aware of is that the whole place is pebbled and hilly so make sure you take some walking shoes. Parking can be challenging but again, so be prepared to walk … but it is all part of the experience

There’s nothing I didn’t like. Just a small suggestion that it could do with an umbrella on the balcony so you can enjoy it more.

Beautiful apartment, extremely spacious, clean and right in the middle of Monemvasia. View from the balcony was beautiful. Also liked the fact that you could leave the air con on so the room was always nice and cool when you came back from a long walk or swim. Very welcoming and accommodating staff, always happy to help and suggest things. Will definitely be coming back during a different time of year to experience this magical place again.

Great location, relative to restaurants, shops and historic sites. Outstanding local knowledge and advice by staff. Traditional local recipes that inspire for breakfast. Ease of check in and out. Room decorated in a traditional manner. Took us back in time. A very relaxing stay with a great sea view.

Not a criticism, but being very tall care is needed to avoid injury.

Location is outstanding just inside of the city wall. Quaint and original, has a wonderful feel and our balcony, albeit small was very functional.

Little things could improve the property. Next to the balcony, replace the weeds with flowers and that would brighten the area up. Hair dryer was not working and the room can do with stronger lighting.

Excellent location as we wanted to stay within the castle itself. A picturesque balcony view made our stay even more enjoyable. Staff were very accommodating and in particular Iraklis. Thank you

As a group of friends we’d booked 1 double and 2 single beds. We got a room with 2 doubles. Was told that was all they had.

The bathroom was a little small. Good to know that rooms are in different buildings spread over the town.

The old town atmosphere and the support of the staff, in particular ‘Hercules’ being a great help with the luggage as this is not easy in this old town. Great room with a lively terrace overlooking the bay.

It was like going back to ancient times! The apartment was very nice and authentic, in the heart of Monenvasia. For tall people a challenge not to hit your head to something :-). Due to the strong wind, the sewers start to smell in some of the apartments. This was directly resolved by the staff by providing us with a different apartment without the smell. Thanks for that!

Rooms were charming. We had the junior suite so 2 levels and am amazing terrace overlooking the sea. Beautiful and perfect!!

The room itself was quite spacious, but there weren’t enough places to sit — only two sofa chairs, which made it less comfortable for four people. The bathroom was quite small and not very convenient to use.

You can’t beat the location! Reception is right at the entrance, and our room was perfectly situated in the center. We were kindly assisted with our luggage. The room itself had a charming atmosphere that beautifully reflected the character of the place. Breakfast was lovely, offering a generous selection of local pastries.
