Very nice property. We stayed at the Il mare suite. The suite was spacious, very nice decorated and very clean. The location was perfect, just a few meters from the beach and the center of Matala. The owner very friendly and polite. We would come again!

The only thing I can think of – but we knew this beforehand and accepted it – is that the youngest missed having a swimming pool.

The friendliness of the staff, the spacious rooms and veranda, the peace and quiet in a bustling village, and the excellent location. The beach is just a 3-minute walk away, and last but not least, there’s the freshly made breakfast.

Wonderful accommodation with a beautiful terrace, very tastefully decorated. Breakfast is fantastic, they make you fresh coffee from the machine (no cheap coffee). Parking 3 minutes from the accommodation, they allowed us to park there all day and on the day of departure. Owners fanatical :)

Fantastic complex in a charming (slightly touristy) village. Despite our apartment was on the ground-floor it was very quiet both day and night. The apartment had a great boho vibe, was fully equipped, and according to my teenage daughters, even Insta-worthy! Besides the fantastic facilities, the staff were the biggest plus. Extremely friendly, relaxed, humorous, and helpful, with genuine attention to their guests and the opportunity for a good conversation.and laughs. We'll try to manifest that we'lĺ visit Matala and of course 'Die Zwei Brüder' again in the future. In short, we had a wonderful time! Thank you.

Perhaps it was an error on our side but the room was a studio, with 1 bathroom and an open shower adjacent to the master bed, which is not very optimal for a 4 person family staying together, but it didn’t bother us too much as we just stayed for 1 night.

Clean, spacious, amazing big balcony with a view to the sea, helpful and friendly staff, nice decoration and a great location inside the town.

The shower was odd because the entire bathroom was included in the shower. A wet bathroom so everything got wet on floor.

Indeed a shower curtain would be great! But in fact not a big problem for summer stay.

Great location - very close to the sea, to all restaurants and shops. Greatest host!! - very helpful - you get everything you might need. There is always an access to drinking water, and a nice breakfast included. They also provide beach towels, umbrellas etc. They organized a taxi transfer way cheaper than you can get at the airport. One day there was a party at nearby café, but the music stopped at midnight, and other than that it was surprisingly quiet.

It exceeded our expectations . The room was beautiful and the view amazing. The welcome on arrival by the host, the friendliness of the service and especially the delicious breakfast in the courtyard under the trees completed the perfect picture. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will certainly return one day.

reception only opens a few hours a day , so for example wanted to go to the beach in the afternoon, couldn’t get any beach towels , had a flooding when having a shower in the evening had to manage on our own . basically apart from breakfast no shotel’service

Description to parking could be more descriptive for those new to the area. Shower had no curtain or door, making a big wet mess. Asked for extra towels and was refused.

Nice clean modern room, free parking close by, good location to town and beach. Breakfast outside in cute courtyard.

Perfect. Could not be improved.

The breakfast was first class with fresh fruit + fruit salad, yogurt, juices, hot selection, breads, homemade jams etc etc. Told to eat as much as we wished. Made to feel very welcome.
